„I expected that the cabin would be ruined from the flood. I called a day or so before I was due to arrive when I got an automatic message about arrival. Of course I was not comfortable coming as I had a reservation for the end of camp and camps had closed and girls sent home. „Great place to getaway and relax. It was quiet, of the main road and the property and cabin were well maintained. Water level in the lake was good, and it was fun to watch the night come to life under the stars. We saw plenty of deer and even an armadillo came strolling by the porch on its way down to the lake to get some water. Good spot and would go back. “

„We were on our way to a wedding on the weekend in Granbury and decided to stop in Fredericksburg for two nights. This is our fourth stay in Fredericksburg and 10th in the hill country and this was one of our favorite accommodations. „My family of 4 enjoyed our stay here. It was not toddler-friendly, but we managed to leave without breaking anything. We loved kayaking on the little lake and enjoyed the short hike. The pool was only slightly heated (during Spring Break) but we got used to the chilly water. The propane grill and hot tub were both awesome. We couldnt get the fire pit to work so we used a lighter to roast marshmallows. Overall I would recommend staying here with kids over 3.“
