Indian Line Campground: Touren und Aktivitäten

Unsere Suite war prinzipiell sauber, aber die Spuren der Zeit waren deutlich zu sehen. Angenehm überrascht waren wir über die Waschmaschine in der Küche, die zwar einen Herd, Backofen, Micro und große Kühlschrank hatte, aber außer 2 Teller, Tassen und Besteck keinerlei Utensilien (z.B. Topf) hatte. Müsste man wohl alles an der Rezeption holen. Am Anreisetag hatten wir zu wenig Handtücher und auch die Folgetage war die Anzahl immer unterschiedlich.

Das Appartment liegt in einem Suite Gebäude direkt im Ausgehviertel in Toronto. Gesichert durch Zugangskontrolle und Portier. UBahn "Bay" in Gehweite. Parken eher nur in der Tiefgarage möglich. Abends ist viel Ausgeh-Verkehr an der Strasse und viele Lokale und hochwertige Clubs um die Ecke. Man sieht viele High-End Karossen (Lambos, McLaren, Porsches, Ferraris, ...). Das Appartment hat 2 Räume (Wohnzimmer mit großem Fernseher und Netflix, Schlafzimmer mit Queensize Bett und kleinem Fernseher). Da Appartment, findet keine tägliche Reinigung statt. Es wird auch kein Frühstück im Gebäude angeboten. Das Zimmer ist hochwertig ausgestattet (Geschirrspüler, Kaffeemaschine, Waschmaschine, Wasserkocher, Microwelle,...) und der Kühlschrank ist vorgefüllt (kostenfrei). Aussicht ist sehr nett. Manchmal trotz (bei uns) 20.Stock etwas Stassenlärm zu hören. Würde ich jederzeit wieder buchen.

We were visiting for TIFF, and the location literally could not be better. It's smack in the middle of it all. The view in the flat is phantastic. Minor inconveniences were that we only had one key for the appartment, even though we were two persons. While I completely understand that the owner, only having two set of keys, wants to keep a set for emergencies, this made our sheduling much more complicated. We had, as most people visiting for the festival, different shedules. Renting the place is a legal grey area, there were notices in the elevators that short term renting was forbidden. That felt a bit sketchy during the first nights, but we soon realized, that the building was full with our other friends also visiting the festival – so obviously there are a lot of owners in that building doing the same thing. I don't know the legal situation precisely and to be honest, I did not really care. But if that's important to you, you might want to check into a regular hotel. The owner was very helpful, at times it was almost a bit much – but he really, really wanted to ensure that we had a pleasant stay. There was a quite dirty shower curtain which the owner promised to replace, other than that, everything went smoothly and we had a phantastic stay. Considering the location, the rooms are quite okay in terms of noise pollution. However, if you're not a great sleeper, bring earplugs and a sleeping mask as only one room is pitch black to sleep because it has no windows.
