„The property was of an ideal size for us and our 15 months baby. It is very quite, surrounded by fruit trees orchards and farm fields. Despite arriving later than expected, Steve was present to welcome us and brief us on the house an surroundings. „A great place in the nice little town of Hythe, 5min walk to the beach, 10min to the High Street, all the amenities close by.We did not miss anything in the house. First of all, the house is very well equipped: kitchen and bath with all the necessary appliances, comfortable beds, good Wifi etc. Apart from that, we loved the artwork, the colours: a great fusion of features of a traditional house and clever ideas. „We stayed at Buttercup Cottage for four nights. It is located 5 mins drive from Rye town centre in a quiet, private location with allocated parking. The studio is spacious and the facilities are excellent for self-catering. We also ate twice at Layla's, a turkish restaurant, which is highly recommended. „The Hayloft was absolutely gorgeous with everything to the highest standard. Superb property with everything you could wish for and a lovely host. Beautiful location and views. Not sure where else you could relax in the hot tub as the sun sets while watching a crane fish in the small lake. Weather was unfortunately wet and windy a lot of our stay so didn't get to make use of the balcony. „Ignore the rubbish from cottages.com as they obviously do not have a clue. The front door facing North road is locked and bolted and so cannot be used to enter the property. Only by going down the steps and using the back door can you get in. The flat bronze yale style key next to the silver long key is the one you need. As the yale lock is loose you need to jiggle the key in the lock to even turn it. Watch out if your tall ... im 6' and had some close calls in the cottage. Do not attempt to use ...
