âAnother outstanding visit to Ivory Lodge. The courtesy and responsiveness of the staff is without equal. Great game drives. The watering hole just outside the rooms brought an abundance of wildlife. Bathrooms in the rooms could use a bit of updating and wifi in the rooms would be nice. But really very little to complain or worry. This was my 4th visit over the last 25yrs and will definitely come again. â

âThe place is unique. Set in its own 8000 acres concession, centred on a waterhole frequented by dozens of elephants daily. Beautiful main lodge and great accommodation, tented and straw roofed platforms where the elephants pass and watch you in the outdoor shower or bathtub.â

âI used to work at this property some time ago. The property has deteriorated significantly with lack of attention to detail, shower cubicles not holding to walls for example loose electrical cables and lamps in dangerous condition.
The bed itself was very comfortable and equipped with electric blankets which were essential for that time of year.
