„Communication with the host was virtually non-existent. The host did not provide a check-in email until I had to call the VRBO ask that they intercede in communicate with the host. We waited outside of the rental for nearly 20 minutes trying to figure the situation out. The host eventually emailed the door code and check in information. I had messaged the host days before asking about check-in cuz I had not received any information via email and no response. The rental itself was in good shape ...

„This was the perfect stay for my extended family. Six adults, 6 kids, and 2 dogs fit comfortably in the house. The driveway was spacious enough to fit 4 vehicles. The location was perfect: next to a private beach and easy access to Cedar Point. The check in and check out process was easy and the host even left a helpful binder with information about wifi, thermostat, places to eat, etc.“

„It was very well kept and stocked with supplies. Everything was nicely decorated and clean. There are stairs to climb up to the house that may make it difficult for a person who has health issues or are unable to walk up a set of stairs. It is a short walk to a kid friendly park and swim area with pretty views. The walk is easy unless you have a health issue regarding walking.“

„In town for a baseball tournament. Loved the backyard space for the kids to play. Plenty of beds for everyone to spread out comfortably.“

„We enjoyed our stay at this location. Pre-arrival communication was vague, and we were not provided with check in insturctions. House is older with older plumbing. No problems with water pressure or hot water though. One of the bedrooms did not have a window air conditioner or a ceiling fan, so it was rather hot. Beautiful location on Lake Erie and we enjoyed lake views and sitting on the deck. “

„Last minute getaway with my family of 4 including 2 young kids. Great location as you have direct access to the beach and you are right at the lake with incredible views. Back sunroom area was nice to sit in while it rained in the evening while still being able to enjoy the lake view. The exterior and grounds around the property could use a little TLC but did not in any way affect our stay. We had a great time!“

„We had a fantastic time having a lowkey bachelorette party! Plenty of space for everyone! Fished in the river had bonfires at night. Ventured over to Sandusky for a pedal bar excursion and ended the evening with dinner and drinks at the Old Fish House thanks to the host recommendation and kind gesture! Would highly recommend this place for large groups especially if you need more single beds than doubles!“

„Rooms were clean. We did not have any bedding for the pullout, but we made due. Great place for us as we were there to fish and just needed a place to sleep and eat. Internet was not able to out to our cabin, but we had plenty of cell service. Having a fish cleaning station on site was fantastic! The views of Lake Erie were great as well. We will definitely be back next time we come for fish!“
