Ok hotel for the price. Excellent staff.

The staff was incredibly helpful and friendly. The rooms are a little dated and could've used a little more cleaning, but I knew beforehand from other reviews. I stayed there for a bit, but was primarily using it for shower and sleeping. I would go back for small visits in Huntsville.

Pictures are deceiving

When I checked into the hotel I saw that the hotel in the front liked just like the website. When I was given the key to my room I noticed the hallways were dirty. When I opened my room the floor was not vacuumed very well and there was trash left in the cans.I went to the front to inform them off what I saw so he offered me another room. That room was sooooooo far and the hotel was very creepy. The gentleman said if I parked in the back he would have to leave a rock between the door because my room key would not open the door from the outside and it was very dark around the entire property. That room was not as clean either,then finally we get a room and there was a dog collar behind the bed and a screw on the floor. It was late so we stayed. The next day I left, and I was going to stay two nights. I tried to get a refund but no one would answer the hotel's phone. Come to find out we were one of two guest they had that night. The breakfast was horrible. Do not, I repeat DO NOT STAY HERE!!!!!!#

A bit disappointing for a Wyndham.

I consider Wyndham an upscale chain. That's why I chose it since I was traveling alone. The room was very dark even with all three lamps on. I found it hard to read. The curtains could not be closed, but there was a pull down shade I had to close for privacy since I was on the first floor. The room was like a tomb when that was pulled down. There was paint chipped off the doorway in the bathroom. The bed and cable TV were fine. There were only maybe two other guests there which is a good indicator to me of how others rate it. The staff was helpful in giving me accurate airport directions and a wakeup call very for an early flight.

Hotel not clean

This hotel is not clean, as I've said elsewhere. One of the staff members mentioned a rumor that the hotel would be shut down for renovation at EOY. Maybe that's why they don't keep it clean.

False advertising. There is no restaurant and bar.

The restaurant and bar have been closed and isn't going to reopen according to the front desk. I stayed there because it had those features, solely. This is false advertising. The place is old and dirty and smelly. Rooms are just OK hit definitely not up to normal Wyndham level.

It was absolutely intolerable.

I do not recommend. The room was not clean many maintenance concerns. I was ready to leave upon arrival.

Not Your Typical Wyndham

Don't let the Wyndham name fool you, this hotel is very worn and shabby inside, enough so to make you unsure of the cleanliness and security. We stopped on a night when all the "inns were full" so really had no choice. It was tolerable for the one night but I would not go again and would not recommend.

For a Bed and shower it works

Hotel is older, I am ok with that, and the room was nice. But they only have Ice available at the Lobby...by request. No vending machines, a few drinks available ...again in the lobby only. Pool Has no water in it. Outer doors which are supposed to remain secure, were propped open.

No meat just because owner doesn't eat meat..

I bought a room with a sofa bed they put me in a room with just a king size bed. She told me she couldn't change my room the next day and I still didn't get what I paid for

The first room they gave us the door was broken and there was a hole in the wall. The desk clerk was very nice and assisted us in getting a different room. Staff at breakfast very warm and welcoming

It was nice on the inside. The outside of hotel is not so appealing but I was satisfied with the room.

It was close to the airport and to the NASA Space Center. It is also close to a lot of restaurants and shopping areas.

Madison hotel not recommended.

The people were nice enough at check-in and check out. The hotel is in need of repair and needs new carpeting throughout. The sleep number beds didn't work well, didn't keep the setting once inflated. The only thing you can smell when you walk into the hotel is the Indian food from the restaurant inside the hotel. The breakfast was nearly non existent and we went elsewhere to eat.

Perfect for the price

The staff was nice at check in and check out. The room was great. The lobby needs work such as th carpet and such. Maybe add some snack machines and such but other than that perfect for the price.

Just for a nap

This place is definitely not what it used to be. The sleep number beds are no longer operating, all the ice machines are broken and the breakfast consisted of eggs and bread. I got ther at12 pm and left at 6:30 am. If you just need a place to sleep and shower, it will be fine. Unfortunately there isn't much else to offer.

Terrible

Our stay was absolutely terrible. The service staff was not helpful in the least and always seem to be away from the desk. The grounds look as though this used to be a nice hotel but now are very unkempt. The hallways and stairwells are nasty and smell terrible. There are stains on all carpeted areas and the hallways seem more like a sauna. Our room wasn't any better. The carpet was dirty. The toilet ran constantly. the bedding did not seem clean and the sheets were torn. The ac was dirty and was missing trim. The "breakfast" consisted of a loaf of bread separated into ziploc bags and a few prepackaged mini muffins. I really can't believe that this was a Wyndham branded hotel. If you're thinking of staying here, do yourself a favor and find another hotel.

Great location!

The staff is wonderful! I arrived late and the airline had misplaced my luggage. The shuttle driver made a stop at the store on the way to the hotel so I could get supplies. The location of the hotel was very convenient to the airport and Redstone Arsenal and Huntsville.

Poor maintenance

None of the ice machines in the entire hotel worked or were available. You had to go down to the lobby bar to get ice- a chore from a room on the top floor way in the back. By the looks of the 'Not Working' sign on the machine closest to my room, it had been broken for a long time. There were also stains in the hallway carpet and in the room. They had obviously not been cleaned in a long time. Also, the key reader on both of the exterior doors that I tried to enter through did not work. It's not that they didn't read my key correctly- they simply were not operable. Needed to walk all the way around to the lobby entrance.

Hair-razing Experience

We had soiled sheets when we arrive and they did provide clean sheets. There was mold around the bathtub and the floors were dirty. We had food in the room and was visited by a mouse. The complimentary breakfast was served cold eggs there were a lot of serving pans that were empty.
