Casa Maramar is a spectacular 10,000 sq ft home located within one of the most exclusive areas in Palmas del Mar Resort. It is 3- level villa located in a quiet street cul-de-sac street.  The villa has 5 bedrooms: Master bedroom has 1 king bed and a sofa bed, plus 3 rooms with queen beds. and 1 room with 2 queen beds.  Bedrooms have either private bathrooms or jack n jill bathrooms. The house has beautiful travertine marble floors. Kitchen, living room, dining room and terraces are located in the top floor.  Kitchen is fully equipped.  Dining room overlooks the pool.  Casa Palmas also has a game room with pool table.   Cable TV and WiFi

Lovely Home with Lovely Pool

The neighborhood is beautiful, and it is a short hike to some very pretty, breathtaking, and secluded beaches. The pool and outdoor lounging areas at this property are the cat's meow. We thought there was a hot tub but it is in fact just a shallow little plunge pool. Still quite nice for 1-2 people. The pool was so nice that we were not upset there was no hot tub.Being Puerto Rico, we were hit with several power outages during our stay. Not the fault of the property manager. The whole island has major power grid issues. They were in the process of installing a bra emergency generator while we were there so unfortunately, we did not get to take advantage of that feature. For those booking after us, you will be in good shape.Kitchen is well equipped. Lighting in the kitchen could be better. There is a BBQ grill on site, however it is not in the greatest of shape. We made due, it does work. Just needs the inside parts replaced as there are rusted burners and flame arrestors.Water damage. There is some water damage in the home. One of the bedrooms had stuff falling from the ceiling. The movie room and game room have a musty odor which tells me there is water damage. Garage ceiling has some water damage.We experienced a leaky air conditioner which soaked one of the beds. The manager was prompt to respond and solved our issue quickly. Went above and beyond providing an air mattress for the night, and then replaced the mattress the very next day.

Wonderful family getaway

Our family truly enjoyed our stay at the Villa. everything was just as pictured but even better in person. The small elevator was a pleasant surprise and extremely helpful for our elderly guests. Everyone raved about the home and wants to come back. Maria was very responsive each time I sent her questions. A memorable experience for all!

Spring break

We stayed March 2024 with three families for spring break. Pool was amazing. Rented golf carts at the marina which you can walk to. It’s my second time in the Palmas Del Mar area. This house is huge, plenty of room for all. We would go back to this house in a second. Thanks for sharing it with us. Sean

This place is amazing. The level of detail provided to ensure the customer had everything you need is unreal. They even had a blood pressure checker. We didnt need to pack any toiletries. They had sunscreen, shampoo, lotion, conditioner, off and more. They even provided everything for a beach day down to umbrellas, chairs, and towels. It was a great experienced.

Absolutely Wonderful

This place is amazingly big, clean, and gorgeous. The host thought of everything including a blood pressure cuff. We were amazed at the little treasure finds throughout (i.e. swim vest and noodles for the kids, aoccer ball, beach umbrella and chairs, q tips). I mean this place was prepared for everything. The pool area and pool side shower with toilet is a plus plus. Loved everything about this stay. Book it now! For real for real!

Beautiful place - 4.75 stars

We loved staying here for a long weekend to celebrate a birthday. The house is large, well appointed and has tons of space to hang out and enjoy the great weather in PR. We did a little cooking and found the kitchen to have just about everything we needed. The pool was great and we often didn't even want to leave the house. Great view of Vieques! The house also seemed very clean. The only reason it isn't 5 stars is that the shower controls were crazy and it was hard to figure out hot water, and there were one or two stairs that weren't standard height - I think the first one as you come in (I'd be super upset if I paid as much as they appear to have paid for the house and have something dumb like that at the end). Overall, I'd recommend this house without hesitation.

The perfect family vacation

We had an extended family of twelve staying in this beautiful home, and never felt cramped or crowded. There are so many living spaces inside and out, and bedrooms are so ample. We had room to gather together, and also had the ability to find our own space when needed. The views are breathtaking, all the way to the Caribbean. The pool was refreshing and beautiful. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed to cook big family meals, and we loved having the gas grill. I do wish there was a bigger table to gather around for meals, but we managed fine, and it does seat 7 or 8. The home is beautifully furnished, but still comfortable and inviting, and exactly like the pictures (though even better in person.) There were ample towels, linens, and beach towels provided, even for our big group. Maria was extremely accommodating, kind, and responded to my questions quickly. If I returned to Palmas (and I sure hope I do!) I wouldn’t hesitate to stay in this lovely home again. Thank you, Maria, for giving our family a place to create such wonderful memories that will last a lifetime!

A really nice place, very spacious. Every bedroom spacious enough for 2 people and we stayed in the room with 2 beds and futon which was comfortable also. Big enough for the 12 people it indicated as long as you don’t mind sleeping with someone. A few minor issues with leaking roof when it rained. We notified the owner and responded promptly. Better than imagined

This was an incredible house to stay in! Our host, Maria, was very accessible and quick to respond. It really is better than the pictures indicate - the view of the ocean from the terrace alone is worth the trip. The house very comfortably sleeps 10 adults (5 couples), the pool was perfect, quiet neighborhood, easily accessible resort community. Any issue we had (maybe one lightbulb was out) was quickly addressed by Maria and her staff. Couldn't recommend this property enough - made our trip to Puerto Rico unforgettable. Highly recommend!

Fun vacation

We were very happy with the check in process. The property was clean. We ran out of towels and the property manager dropped some off the next day. Washer needed to be updated. The kitchen was well stocked but needs a clean out of the seasonings and drawers. Probably many years of people leaving things. Overall we were happy with the rental.

Not what I expected, overpriced

The property is kind of run down. The wifi didn't connect to the internet upstairs. The pool heater didn't work. I had specifically inquired about the pool being heated before I paid. The pool man indicated that the owner knew the pool heater didn't work. I did inform the owner of the issues. The owner did not follow-up to be sure issues were fully resolved. The owner did respond some, but there was not resolution. There are not enough hand towels. No dish rags. It is very hard to figure out the lights and fans and air conditioners. One master bedroom ceiling light cannot be turned off at all, ever. The dishwasher practically falls out of the wall. The pool table is fun, but completely unlevel, ripped, and dirty. Only one pool cue has a tip. The rec room is no longer like the pictures. There is a broken treadmill in there. The TV and DVD player are unplugged on a shelf. You have to use your own streaming services. Which means adding devices to your accounts which can be an issue if you device limits. The neighbor has an obnoxious barking dog. The community beach takes a while to drive, park and walk to the entrance. Overall, my worst VRBO experience. I way overpaid. I had to pick this place in a rush because the rental I had arranged months before through VRBO canceled less than 2 weeks before our arrival.

Beautiful home in a nice area with great views

Our family of 4 and another family of 5 thoroughly enjoyed this beautiful house last week. The kitchen is well stocked with everything you need, the marble throughout is beautiful, there's plenty of room to spread out so you never feel on top of one another, the beds/pillows were very comfortable with extra bedding, there were extra blankets, lots of towels (bath and beach) and everything was very clean. The outdoor area was fantastic and we spent most of our time out there from drinking coffee early in the morning to cocktails at night. The birds (or lizards?) chirp and there's a slight breeze with a great view. Just perfect. Kids enjoyed the pool and there's plenty of room to sit around it and enjoy the sun. The game room was fully stocked with an extra fridge, lots of games and a pool table. Everything was as expected and I have zero complaints. Would definitely recommend to anyone and would absolutely stay again.
