The Space:

Casa Del Mar is a stunning two-level beachfront apartment located in the best area of Palmas del Mar Resort, Humacao, Puerto Rico. Designed to provide the best beach vacation and getaway, this property offers spectacular views of the beach, pool, and beautifully landscaped grounds. Perfect for families or small groups, the apartment sleeps up to 5 guests and features two bedrooms, 2.5 bathrooms, a fully equipped kitchen, an in-unit washer and dryer, a beachfront balcony and 2-rooftop terraces to enjoy your time al fresco.





LIVING AREAS



The first level features an open-concept layout connecting the kitchen, dining, and living areas. The living room is modern and thoughtfully designed with top-quality furnishings. It features a flat-screen TV with Wi-Fi and smart apps, perfect for enjoying your favorite shows. The space also includes a comfortable sofa and an oversized armchair, creating a cozy and inviting area to relax and unwind. The living area offers beautiful views of the beach, pool, and ocean, allowing you to enjoy the sounds of the waves and refreshing Caribbean trade winds. The dining table seats six, with additional seating at the kitchen counter.



Step outside to the balcony off the living room to enjoy your morning coffee, evening drinks, or a meal cooked on the BBQ grill, all while taking in the views of the beach and pool. In addition, there are two furnished rooftop terraces perfect for relaxing, dining, or soaking in the panoramic views.





IMPORTANT NOTES:



#1: THE CONDOMINIUM CRESCENT COVE IS CURRENTLY UNDERGOING GENERAL MAINTENANCE AND UPGRADES. YOU MAY FIND MACHINERY THAT IS BEING USED TO PAINT THE APARTMENT BUILDINGS. THIS IS AN ONGOING PROJECT DURING 2025 AND, WE EXPECT IT WILL BE FINISHED BY JANUARY 2026.



#2: TO ACCESS THE VILLA, GUESTS MUST TAKE TWO FLIGHTS OF STAIRS. IMPORTANT TO KNOW THERE IS NO ELEVATOR.  THIS PROPERTY IS LOCATED IN THE COMMUNITY CALLED “CRESCENT COVE”, WHICH DOES NOT LEGALLY REQUIRE ELEVATORS IN ANY BUILDINGS SINCE THEY HAVE A MAXIMUM OF 3 FLOORS. PLEASE TAKE THIS INTO CONSIDERATION IF YOU OR A COMPANION HAS ANY DISABILITIES.



#3: THIS PROPERTY IS A 2-LEVEL VILLA. GUESTS NEED TO KNOW THAT IT HAS MANY STAIRCASES. TO ACCESS BOTH BEDROOMS, GUESTS MUST CLIMB STAIRS. 





KITCHEN



The kitchen is fully equipped with a refrigerator and freezer, microwave, oven, toaster, coffee maker, dishwasher, and all necessary cookware and dinnerware for your stay. A washer and dryer are included, making it convenient for longer visits. West Indies Vacation Rentals ensures that all essentials, including dish soap and sponges, are provided for your convenience.





SLEEPING ARRANGEMENT



- Master Bedroom: King bed, private full bathroom, stunning views

- Second Bedroom: Bunk bed (full bed on the bottom and a twin on top) - Ideal for children or additional guests

- Full Bathrooms: Two full bathrooms, one in the master bedroom and the second full bathroom conveniently located adjacent to the second bedroom.



Both bedrooms are located on the second level of the apartment, offering privacy and comfort, and with AC in each room.



PACK AND PLAY (SUBJECT TO AVAILABILITY):



We can leave a complimentary Pack and Play at the property upon request. This should be requested upon booking or no later than 5 days before arrival. Pack and Plays are subject to availability.

 



GETTING AROUND & PARKING



The property includes two (2) parking spots for cars and one (1) additional small parking spot in case you decide to rent a golf cart.



We strongly recommend renting a car to be able to move around the area. Ubers are not readily available and cannot be relied on.



If looking to rent a golf cart so you can have direct access to the beach, we can provide the number of the rental companies on-site.





LOCATION



Casa Del Mar enjoys one of the most coveted locations within Palmas del Mar, Puerto Rico. Guests can walk to the beach and the pool.



There are many things to do in the surrounding areas, here are some of our favorites:



Golf at one of Palmas del Mar's two 18-hole Golf Courses. Tee times can be booked over the phone.

Tennis at the Palmas del Mar Athletic Club with 20 courts that include artificial grass, Har-Tru Clay, and hard courts.

Lunch or dinner at La Pescaderia, an oceanfront restaurant by the marina with some of the best seafood on the island.

Explore the El Yunque Rainforest. El Yunque is an easy 40-minute drive from the property and is the only rainforest under US Flagship.

Chill at the beach! It is within walking distance, is a mile-long, and has a great beachfront grill!



Other Things to Note:

STARTER AMENITIES



At West Indies Vacation Rentals, we strive to provide top-notch amenities, ensuring our guests feel at home during their stay.



All properties come with freshly laundered bed linens and towels. We provide 2 bath towels per guest and 1 beach/pool towel per guest.



We provide a set of disposable essentials to help you get your vacation started comfortably. These include:



- 1 set of hotel-size soap and shampoo (per bathroom)

- 3 garbage bags

- 1 roll of paper towels

- 2 rolls of toilet paper (per bathroom)

- 1 dish soap

- 1 dish sponge

- A small amount of laundry detergent



Please note that we do not provide unlimited disposable amenities. It is the guest’s responsibility to review what is included in the property and stock any additional items needed for the duration of the stay.



Most properties also include at least 2 beach chairs and an ice cooler. You may reach out to us 5 days before arrival for confirmation.





HOUSE RULES



RENTAL AGREEMENT: All bookings require a signed Short-Term Rental Agreement, which will be sent upon confirmation of your reservation. Guests must upload a valid photo ID (no selfies) that matches the name on the credit card used for the booking. The agreement must be signed within 48 hours of booking or prior to entering the property, whichever comes first. Check-in instructions will not be provided until the agreement is completed.



NO SMOKING: Smoking is not permitted anywhere on the property. A $500 smoking fee will be charged if this rule is violated.



NO PETS: While we are pet lovers, pets are not permitted at the property at any time. A $300 fine will be charged if this rule is violated, and guests may be asked to leave the property.



QUIET HOURS: Quiet hours are from 10:00 PM to 8:00 AM. Please be mindful of noise during these hours out of respect for nearby residents/neighbors.



UTILITIES (WATER & ELECTRICITY): In the event of an interruption to water or electrical service, the host is not responsible for hotel, alternate lodging, or transportation expenses. If service is interrupted for more than 3 hours, guests may cancel the reservation and request a refund for unused nights only. Nights already used are non-refundable.



MAXIMUM OCCUPANCY: The maximum occupancy is 5 adults/children at all times, including visitors.



OCCUPANCY ENFORCEMENT: Occupancy limits are strictly enforced. Exceeding the maximum occupancy may result in immediate cancellation of the reservation or removal from the property without refund.



TOWELS & LINENS: Towels and linens are provided for normal use only. Please do not use them for cleaning or allow them to be stained with food, grease, or other substances. Charges may apply for damaged or stained items.



TOWEL HANGING: Please do not hang towels or any other items to dry in areas visible from outside the unit. A $100 community fine may apply if this rule is violated.



SUBLETTING: Subletting or re-renting the property is not permitted.





CHECK-IN / CHECK-OUT TIMES



Check-in begins at 4:00 PM, and since this is a self-check-in unit, you can arrive anytime after that.



If you’d like to check in earlier, please contact us the day before your arrival, and we’ll confirm availability. When possible, early check-in typically starts around 11:00 AM. Please note that early check-in is subject to availability and depends on our cleaning schedule.



If you need a guaranteed early check-in, you will need to book from the night prior to ensure the property is ready upon your arrival.



Check-out time is at 11:00 AM. For late check-out requests, please reach out the day before your departure, and we’ll be happy to check availability for you.





TRAVEL INSURANCE / HURRICANE SEASON



We strongly recommend that all guests purchase travel insurance, not only during the peak months of Hurricane Season (July to October) but also throughout the year to cover unexpected events such as travel delays, pandemics, or other unforeseen issues.



Travel insurance is inexpensive and can reimburse travelers for most expenses associated with canceling travel outside of the cancellation window; however, coverage will depend on the policy purchased. Make sure to review and understand the options before purchase.
