„For a lodge charging $500 per night for a standard king room, we expected a peaceful, relaxing experience in the Catskills. Unfortunately, our stay was the opposite. The biggest issue was the complete lack of soundproofing. Our bed was positioned directly against the wall behind the main entrance door, so every time someone entered the lodge, it sounded as if they were coming into our room. Couldn’t regulate the heat and were either cold or hot. There was a family with children above us and there was constant thumping from above. The construction of the place did not provide for adequate noise mitigation. I think if we had stayed one night,or even two, it might not have been as ...

„This was our second stay here. As soon as I drove up the drive and walked through the door I was reminded of the zen atmosphere. Looks beautiful, smells divine. This is not an over-the-top, ornate type of property. Rather it is elegant and “modern traditional”. Same with the rooms. Well designed and uber comfortable. Another plus: no kids! The restaurant food was wonderful, the staff so nice, a nice mix of friendly and formal. Overall, it feels like an escape while being less than a block from ...
