âWe had a relaxing 3 night stay with Carolyn. Lovely bedroom with large en-suite bathroom in a peaceful, rural location. We enjoyed the breakfasts as well as Carolynâs home cooked evening meals, both of which gave lots of choice. We didnât want to leave! Thank you Carolyn đâ

âWe booked this last minute trip to Northumberland. We have driven past often during summer holidays and were looking for a hotel for a few nights. The staff were lovely and the food was excellent. The room was spotless but a little small, however as we only booked the night before we thought we were lucky to get a room!!
Embleton is close to lots of attractions, close to the beach and Alnwick and Craster. Itâs great value for the price and we will definitely be back.â

âThese are lovely little rooms for a couple of nights - really nicely decorated and feel really intimate and cosy. The parking is a short walk (pebbles, so roller cases are a bit of a pain) but convenient enough. Property is a short walk from an absolutely beautiful beach. â

âWe stayed for our Anniversary trip and I booked the Olympic suite restaurant and wasnât disappointed, fabulous food, wonderful attentive staff who couldnât do enough for us , room was fantastic comfortable beds and pillows , bed was enormous, we had a bath and shower and tea making facilities, everything was within walking distance, lovely few days would certainly go back and a great choice , my only negative was parking which can spoil your experience and made arrival for us very stressful â

Our room was unexpectedly warm for the time of year, despite radiators being turned-down but there was already a good fan in the room to counter this. "Schöner ruhiger Ort, genau das, was man nach einem ereignisreichen Tag benötigt. Das Haus ist sehr gemĂŒtlich eingerichtet. Alles Notwendige ist vorhanden. Kleiner Tip: Sehr gut essen kann man im direkt gegenĂŒberliegendem "Horseshoes". "
"Tolle Lage fĂŒr AusflĂŒge, schöner groĂer Garten, das Restaurant im Hause hatte gute Angebote. Die Freundlichkeit des Personals war sehr gut. Dennoch: Wie 4 Sterne zu rechtfertigen sind, bleiben mir unverstĂ€ndlich. Die groĂen Flecken im FuĂboden im Flur, abgerissene Tapeten, die sehr staubigen und z.T. klebrigen FlĂ€chen im Zimmer waren eine Zumutung. Die EntlĂŒftung im WC war sehr laut und hielt sicher nicht nur uns nachts mindestens 15 Minuten wach. Es wĂ€ren dringende Renovierungen nötig und eine Steigerung im Saubermachen. Warum dennoch ein mittelmĂ€Ăiges Urteil? Das Zimmer war relativ groĂ, hatte zwei StĂŒhle und ein sehr breites Doppelbett. Das FrĂŒhstĂŒck war okay. "
