„They converted what appeared to be a former business, and it was fabulous! Plenty of beds, a kitchen with everything, an outdoor gas firepit, 3 tvs, and an indoor hot sauna were just some of the featues. A group would love this space, although there is just one (nice) bathroom. I'd definitely stay here again! Close to Houghton or Torch Lake / Hubbelll (7 miles) if you are taking the seaplane to Isle Royale.“

„The area is so quiet and peaceful. We slept incredibly well. Dragonfly cottage is so cute and tastefully updated. Each room had unique touches. There were plenty of pillows and towels for everyone. „Beautiful property outside of Houghton with lovely outdoor seating to enjoy nature. House was very clean and well equipped. You are a bit out of town. The listing says Atlantic Mine, but it seems more like Liminga area so plan to drive 15 minutes to restaurants and groceries. The exception was Schmidt's Corner which is 2 miles away and good for dinner and drinks. Overall enjoyable stay.“

„This was a super convenient and affordable place for our group to stay during MTU graduation weekend. The beds were very comfortable and there was plenty of space for all 5 of us - ages 17 to 87. We did not spend a lot of time there, but it served our needs very well.“

„This is a beautiful modern house on a long, long stretch of golden sand beach. The house has tons of windows and high ceilings so you feel like you are outdoors. It is a two level house so is perfect for larger family or just a couple (one bedroom on the main floor). It’s minutes from a boat launch. There are also smaller inland lakes nearby. The hosts are very nice folks. There is a lot to do in the area in spite of the feeling of being remote. We would stay here again in a heartbeat!“

„First, the property manager is terrific. He communicates as much as you need before your arrival and is assessible for any issues during your stay. In our case, we had a loud group move into the "B" unit, which is above. They entered at 1:00 AM and kept us awake until 4:30 when they finally stopped.
