The garden was so pretty with a little pond and waterfall. I love nature so it was perfect.

„Beautiful property in beautiful grounds. Rooms are beautifully decorated and very comfortable. Home from home. The only downside was we came back around 9.40 in the evening to have a drink in the bar, to find it was shut. However this wouldn't put me off coming back for another stay. “

„Fabulous hotel. The food was first class, the staff were friendly and the service was excellent. We stayed in one of the cottages. everything was excellent, clean and comfortable, all the facilities you would except were available. If I am being pedantic, the decor in the cottage was dated compared to the main hotel, but some may love the styling.

„Overall a very pleasant stay, it was a very hot day so the room was hot but it did have portable fan. Welcome and service by the staff was excellent.
The main entrance door has a strong spring on it so very noisy when people allowed it to slam shut.

„Beautiful scenery a lovely pind on the grounds to feed the duckds and ducklings. Rooms were very clean the bed is comfortable. Their was a humming noise coming from the fan in the bathroom that took ages to turn off breakfast was £12.50 wasnt the best but it was all you can eat and had plebty of options full english , continental, cereal, fruits warm and cold drinks also included with breakfast was acess to the pool,gym,ducuzi, steam room and sauna .Took a lovely trip out over the humber ...

The location is great, being close to a few larger towns like Driffield and Pocklington, but also close to some amazing walking including a stretch of the Yorkshire Wolds Way. The room was really lovely, the staff friendly, and the food and beer fantastic. We will definitely stay again when we're next out this way! “
