„We had a great week at Caribbean Sandcastle! Our party consisted of 4 adults & 3 kids (aged 9, 11, 13). We flew into Governor's Harbor which was just minutes from the house, picked up our rental vehicle, and the property manager kindly allowed us to drop off our luggage on the porch since we couldn't check in early. „My family of 4 stayed for 6 nights in late March. The house was clean and well equipped with comfortable beds. There are many chairs, coolers, towels, snorkeling gear, and even some floaties available for use. The view is amazing, I could never tire of the view. The beach is a short walk down a couple flights of wooden stairs. The sand is fine, soft, white with pink mixed in. You can walk for miles and miles in either direction. We will be back!“

„This is a very nice house in a good location. While it is not waterfront there is a good view of the Atlantic from the front porch and easy access to central Eleuthera - Governors Harbor, James Cistern, and many beaches on both the Atlantic and Caribbean. The house itself is spacious, modern and well-maintained. Large double doors on the front of the house provided cooling breezes both day and night. The owner was very responsive to our very few needs.“

The only disappointment is that we thought from the listing the large balcony facing the ocean would be private and adjacent to our unit, but it is the owner's balcony which we could access. „Had a wonderful week on the island and the stay at the owls roost made it that much better. The house was great. Such a beautiful piece of property and well described. The house is well stocked to truly have a relaxing vacation. The access down to the beach was a little rough as the heavy surf had recently eroded the shoreline but with a little problem solving we had no issue. We will definitely be back. „We stayed at the beautiful situated ocean view cottage for 6 days with a family of 3 persons. It‘s small and cosy and gives you everything you need. The garden is beautiful and we loved to spend time on the terasse for extensive breakfasting :-) Within 10 minutes by foot there is one of the most beautiful but very quiet beaches with great snorkeling opportunities (turtles!).
