Zimmer war sehr geschmackvoll und das personal überaus zuvorkommend. Der Flughafen Transfer hat perfekt geklappt uns ist mit sechs Pfund auch nicht zu teuer.

Sehr zu empfehlen
Anfahrt zum Hotel mit Taxi - nie wieder! Es gibt keine Regulären Taxis, so dass der Taxiservice am Ausgang genommen werden muss. Hier wurde für die Entfernung von 2000 m und einer Fahrstrecke von 2 min. ein Pauschalpreis von 10 GBP genommen. Der Fahrservice des Hotels berechnet nur 5,50 GBP. Also lieber auf den Fahrdienst des Hotels zurückgreifen. Ansonsten ist die Unterkunft sauber, gepflegt und die kleine Bar ist ausreichende ausgestattet. Wenn man mehr Auswahl braucht.... 5 min Fußweg links die Straße runter, an der großen Kreuzung rechts abgebogen, ist an einem kleinen Platz im Herzen von Horley ein großer Pub mit viel Leben.

Sehr guter Service und neue, gut ausgestattete Zimmer. Zustellbett für unseren Sohn war gut und ihm hat gutes WLAN gefallen.

Auf der Durchreise genutzt. Hotel mit Pub, das am Rande des Zentrums von Chester liegt. Freundliche MItarbeiter und sauber, wenn auch die Räume oft klein und die Betten sehr weich sind.

We needed picked up at the train station and that was quick and easy 6 £. Only draw back was no lift, but the driver quickly took my bags upstairs. Place is very clean and updated . Restaurant was nice. Trip to airport the next day was quick and easy £12 per room. Price for room was very reasonable.

The overall experience was pleasant, I was disappointed to find out about their sneaky parking charge of £9 when booking through a third-party platform. It would have been helpful if this fee was transparently communicated upfront. Other than that, the hotel offered a comfortable stay with okay amenities and courteous staff

Lovely little hotel close to Gatwick Airport. Very convenient for overnight stay between flights or early morning one. Excellent hotel shuttle, waited less than 5 minutes after calling them from the bus stop #10 at the south terminal. Friendly driver and staffs. Would not hesitate at all recommending The Corner House Hotel and I will definitely come back !

A Wonderful Stay
My room at the Corner House had a twin bed, a desk, a sink (perfect because I have OCD and like to wash my hands a lot), and a tea kettle (with lots of free tea bags of delicious tea). The washroom was the next room down, and I never saw anyone else use it, so that was still convenient. Absolutely great. The staff were super friendly and accommodating. The shuttle service is fast and convenient--they'll pick you up at any hour, just on your own, if you need it--and the food is delicious. The portion sizes are large! I ordered a main and a side from the lunch menu, but the main came with a salad and crisps already, which weren't listed on the menu. That was a nice surprise. I couldn't have been happier with my stay. I just wish I had given myself a few more days there.

Well Recommended
The Corner House was perfect for a solo traveler like me while waiting for a flight from Gatwick. I had a single room which was a little small. However, the cleanliness and comfort were superb. I really had a good night's sleep. The breakfast was excellent and started your day off well. I would stay again most definitely.

The room was cheap and they provide transportation to the airport. However, that comes at the cost of £12. When I arrived at the hotel, the lady was unwelcoming. The room was small and the bathroom was across the hallway. I brought my underwear and a towel to go shower. When I finished, I walked back to my bedroom and it was locked and my electronic key didn’t work. I had to walk around the hallway in my underwear and seek for someone who would open the door.

I am sorry that you didn't enjoy your stay, however the key stopped working because you were late checking out of the room, check out is 11am and we let you stay until almost 11:45am free of charge. Also you didn't have to have a transfer with us there are local buses or you could have got a more expensive taxi that are all over 15 and you didn't seem to mind the price when I told you it. 24 hours shuttle bus service. Last time I did not have any luggage. It is 20 minutes walk from the south terminal. Staff is very attentive. Room was very clean.

More than just a corner
This is not the Ritz, but for a night or two or more stopover (I had to deliver a hire car back to Gatwick) very clean room, super helpful and friendly staff, and a delicious cooked breakfast! Just what anyone could want or need!!

Lovely friendly staff it could do with giving it's guests an itemised bills as we spent £100 on 2 burgers 2 desserts a bottle of wine some toast and a pot of tea seems a lot of money for that

Lovely clean hotel with friendly staff and a wonderful English breakfast. Only negative is that there are stairs and no lift which is difficult with a heavy suitcase.

A one night stay on return from holiday. No problem arriving at 11pm. Very comfortable bed. Good breakfast. My only concern was that the transaction on my credit card was done out of my sight but the correct amount was charged

Friendly, clean and comfortable
The building looked a bit lole Faulty Towers but that's where any similarity stopped!. My room was smallish but extremely well equipped and the bed very comfortable. Sky sports was showing in the bar, a nice surprise. Sorry, im a typical bloke. The bar food was freshly prepared, and good value as was the restaurant menu. I didnt realise i had to pay for parking but that was my only moan and a minor one. The service was excellent.
