Es war sehr sauber und hat eine sehr gute Lage. Tram und Busstation sind gleich vor der Türe. Die Betten sind Sauber und das Personal sehr freundlich.

Sehr kleine Räume mit sehr wenig Komfort. Aircondition su schwach um den Raum mit frischer Luft zu bersorgen; aber keine Möglichkeit Fenster zu öffnen. Räume zu klein um ausreichend Frischluft während der Nachstunden ( 7 Stunden) aufenthalt zu gewährleisten! INakzeptabel!

Hotel ist grundsätzlich empfehlenswert!
Ich habe das Hotel zum 2. Mal gewählt. Entscheidend war die zentrale Lage. Fußweg zur Metro ca. 5-6 Minuten. Bus und Straßenhahn-Haltestelle sind vor der Haustür. Diverse Restaurants, Kaffeehäuser und Pubs in unmittelbarer Nähe. Besonders positiv: Die Bettqualität. Selten habe ich in einem besseren Bett geschlafen!!! Meine Freundin schwärmt noch heute davon! Ansonsten: Zimmer sind sauber, kein Grund zur Klage. Nachteil: Zahnbürste, Plastikrasierer (hatte ihn vergessen) und Badezimmerschuhe muss man an der Rezeption erfragen. Wer das ins Zimmer geliefert haben möchte, muss bis zu 20 Minuten warten. Mit Elektrogeräten aus Deutschland, heisst es: Kein Anschluss ! Wer keinen Converter für Hong Kong hat, hat Probleme. Es gibt lediglich am Bett einen fest installierten Converter. Der lässt sich allerdings nicht an anderer Stelle einsetzen. Fazit: Entweder einen eigenen mitbringen, oder an der Hotelrezeption erfragen. Im Zimmer ist auch ein kleiner Plastikkühlschrank mit Stauraum für ein paar Drinks zu finden. Er ist nützlich aber viel zu laut. Und auch die Airconditioning ist sehr laut. Zum Schlafen sollte man sie lieber abschalten... Meine durchgeschwitzte Kleidung wollte ich in einem "Laundry bag" verstauen. Bei meiner Abreise wollte ich diesen mitnehmen und erkundigte mich an der Rezeption nach dem Preis: stolze 60 HK Dollar. Im Zweifelsfall als nicht vergessen einen solchen mitzubringen.

Tram vor der Tür , U-Bahn um die Ecke - viele gute Lokale und ein gutes Nachtleben gleich um die Ecke Gute Betten - Zimmer nicht riesig, aber im Vergleich mit ähnlichen Hotels in der Nähe eher größer !

This is a really great property in a wonderful location. The hotel is really close to central but also a stroll from Wan Chai. Great for a tourist to get out and explore the city of Hong Kong and easy to the MTR/Bus or Tram. A short walk to the harbour for walks and runs. There are lots of restaurants (European/North American/Asian) near and plenty of local shops as well. So I’m burying this further down, as it’s not really a reflection of the hotel, just on my trip to Hong Kong. I came for 6 days from UK just to Hong Kong. I suffered quite bad jet lag as a result. Why do I mention this? Well if I was to book a hotel again I would maybe look to get a hotel with more public space (this one has none) as somewhere to chill in the quieter hours. I would also maybe look into a hotel with a gym, as somewhere to pass the time in the middle of the night. These are not a reflection on this hotel, as it is great value for money, but might be something you want to consider when looking at hotels. You might also just be happy to sit in bed and read!
