A country escape with five rather memorable neighbours.



Set among the rolling hills of Tea Tree, this welcoming home comes with a charming sight near the entrance: five adorable black-faced sheep. Watching them graze and wander nearby is part of the pleasure of staying here, bringing a little extra character to your Tasmanian countryside getaway.



Inside, warm timber finishes, colourful artwork and two separate living areas create a comfortable place to settle in. Outside, a covered veranda overlooks the garden and surrounding farmland, inviting you to slow down and enjoy the view.



— Meet the Five Sheep



Our five black-faced sheep are a highlight of the property. With their dark faces and woolly coats, they make delightful subjects for holiday photos and give guests of all ages something to watch during their stay.



Enjoy observing them respectfully from outside their enclosure. Please keep gates securely closed, supervise children around livestock and check with us before feeding or approaching the sheep. This is an opportunity to enjoy animals in a rural setting rather than a supervised petting-farm experience.

Two separate living areas give everyone space to unwind.



The front sitting room features a brown leather sofa, timber furniture and a bright, comfortable setting for reading or conversation. The second lounge sits beside the kitchen, with a generous sofa, an armchair and access towards the veranda.



Spend the afternoon together or find your own quiet corner after a day out.



— Sleeping Arrangements



Three queen beds are available for guests, making the home a comfortable choice for couples, families or friends travelling together.



One additional bedroom is locked and is not included in the guest accommodation.



— Kitchen and Dining



The kitchen includes a fridge, stove, oven and breakfast bar for easy meals at home. Start the day with breakfast inside, then take your coffee onto the veranda to enjoy the countryside.



For a relaxed evening, prepare a BBQ and gather around the outdoor table.



— Veranda and Outdoor Living



The covered veranda offers table and bench seating with views across the garden, trees and rolling farmland. It is a lovely spot for a leisurely lunch, a book or simply watching the light change across the hills.



When weather and fire restrictions permit, enjoy an evening around the outdoor fire pit. All fires must be supervised and fully extinguished after use.



— Bathroom



The bathroom features a glass-screened shower, a wide vanity and mirrored storage. Please use the extractor fan when showering.



— A Tea Tree Country Escape



Surrounded by paddocks and hills, the property offers a quieter side of Tasmania. The appeal here is simple: countryside views, time outdoors and the company of five woolly neighbours.



The home is close to our other accommodation at 906 Tea Tree Road. If you are travelling with another family or a larger group and would like separate homes nearby, please enquire about availability for both properties. Each home requires its own booking.



— Arrival and Parking



The property is reached through a manual gate and an electric gate, followed by a steep driveway. Parking is available near the front door.



Please follow the arrival instructions in your check-in guide, observe the 20 km/h speed limit on property roads and ensure gates are secured behind you to keep the sheep safe.

Other Things to Note:

• Five black-faced sheep live near the entrance. Please observe them respectfully, supervise children and check with us before feeding or approaching them.



• Keep all access gates securely closed to prevent the sheep from wandering out.



• This is a rural setting, so wildlife and insects are part of the surroundings. Snakes may also be present outdoors. Keep external doors closed and close windows when leaving a room.



• Access includes a steep driveway and two gates. Please read the arrival instructions before travelling.



• Fire pit use is subject to safe weather conditions and fire restrictions. Do not use it in windy conditions, never leave a fire unattended and extinguish it completely after use.



• The house uses a septic system. Flush toilet paper only.



• The water pump must remain plugged in to maintain the house water supply.



• Please remove shoes indoors and switch off lights and room heaters when not in use.
