Everything was fine until the very end. It was so bad, it ruined the whole experience. The front desk staff is nice and accommodating.
On check-out day, after paying for our stay and resolved some misunderstanding with bottled waters, as we were about to leave the hotel, the owner had the audacity to come out and said that we're so cheap, we can't even pay for water bottles.
I had booked and stayed at the hotel for 9 days. I was told that I would get 2 free water bottles per day in my room. There are 2 bottles in the fridge that would not be free. The free bottles will be left outside of the fridge. On check out day, i was surprised to see we were charges for the waters for the 9 days of staying. I told the receptionist that the owner had told me the water were free, she called and spoke to the owner, twice. She got yelled at by the owner for waking him up and not handling the problem on her own. I was willing to pay for the water until the owner than said he'll take care of the water for us.
I was fine with that, paid for the hotel then leave. As I was preparing to leave, the owner decided to walk out to our motorbikes and say that he can't believe we're so cheap that we made a big deal out of water bottles. I can't believe he insulted us over water bottles. Unbelievable. I don't mind paying for the water, but coming out to insult your customers over water is immature, short-sighted and disrespectful.
