„The rooms and common areas are opulent and luxurious. The grounds are wonderfully manicured with exceptional views out to the sea. There is even a haunted castle ruin on site! All the staff are wonderful and friendly, especially Andrea who looked after my family and I on our short stay. Without a doubt, one of the prettiest hotels in Scotland! “

- es hat schon bessere Zeiten erlebt und es gibt noch so manches zu renovieren - so konnten z. B. die Fenster nicht geöffnet werden (Brandschutz ausreichend ???) , im Badezimmer funktionierte die Toilettenspülung nicht auf Anhieb und um die Nachttischlampen nutzen zu können musste erst unter dem Bett eine Zwischensteckerleiste gefunden und genutzt werden

„Food was delicious, a bit pricey but everywhere is pricey nowadays. Bed very comfortable. Just small things like sofa could have been vacuumed and areas in room that are touched a lot could have been cleaned, but the room was clean overall.

The service, the comfort of the quality bedding and linens, the wonderful breakfast that is offered to all guests to mention a few were exceptional. The location is perfect if you’re interested in golfing Royal Dornoch or visiting a quaint village in the Highlands. I highly recommend this hotel!“

"Absolutely wonderful. Admittedly, the houses are ultra tiny - but that’s a known feeling from camping. Still, it was possible to store four large suitcases. (I was worried about this before arrival.)
It’s wonderfully peaceful, just pleasant. Absolutely worth a visit."
