„Great place to stay - just as advertised. While not fancy or luxurious, it is very nice, comfortable and clean and in a spectacular location. Having morning coffee on lanai overlooking the ocean cannot be beat. Probably the best stocked kitchen in rental that we have ever had. Saul is an attentive (in a very good way) host. He provides great welcoming touches, including a bottle of wine and fresh cut flowers.“

„We decided to rent a beach house to house a few family members who flew over from Catalina Island to come to my Dad's Celebration of Life! Both my Aunt and Uncle from Catalina Island are 87 and 90 Years old. The house was very comfortable and easily accessible with a cane. Although we did experience some rainfall having the rocks embedded in the entrance floor and stairs made it easy for them to go up and down the stairs. „Unbelievable access to the wonderful Hilo beach parks all within a mile or 2. We were up and across the street to Richardson Beach Park everyday to see the turtles and the black sand beach in the afternoon. Richard’s house was so comfortable and had everything we needed for the beach and in the house. Loved the tropical views from all the windows and it was so quiet at night (except for the birds and the rain, which were wonderful to hear). Definitely coming back if I am lucky enough to ever ...

„We loved the location of this property. Walking across the street to snorkel at Richardson was wonderful. We enjoyed the ocean breezes inside and also spent time outside on the deck with its great view of the ocean. The two cats were welcome (outside!). One night they received a treat of leftover Ono fish from the Hilo Bay Cafe. We now have cat friends for life!“

„Booked a room with a view and checking in i got a room offered in third floor, however without an elevator. Due to a bad back and heavy baggage i decided not to take the room and go for another hotel and got full refund. So service was very good (yvonne) but the lack of an elevator could have been mentioned in the room description. “
