„Well-appointed cottage that was once a stable block. Very nicely renovated with all the essentials that you need in a vacation home. Welcome pack (including a small bottle of milk!). Comfortable bed. Wood burning stove plus electric heaters. Set on its own behind the main house, it is visited by sheep grazing on common land and deer coming down to visit. Beautiful part of the country and well recommended for those wanting tranquility and calm (no tv!). “

„The property was lovely and cosy, with plenty of facilities to use such as towels, kitchen equipment etc...The drive back to the cottage was very welcomed as it's not so busy compared to the other areas of Skye that were very busy with tourist traffic and the views from the area are incredible. Sarah sent very helpful instructions and information regarding the property and answered messages quickly. There is plenty of heating for the evening if the temperature drops and warms the cottage up very ...

„Loved the cottage Red Deer. We have stayed in the one bedroom before Brochure. Settee was a bit uncomfortable. No hairdryer although listed as having one, so had to go and buy a travel hairdryer. Disappointed that there wasn’t any hand soap provided in the bathroom Apart from that we would come back as it is very spacious. “

„This is the perfect cottage to explore Skye. Ideal for a family of four. We slept well, the shower is good and every thought has gone into this self catering accommodation (not one but two hairdryers, sharp kitchen knives, dishwasher tablets, treats!). We arrived with everything we needed food and drink wise (I recommend you do as well as it's a drive to the shops) but also ate locally at the inn which was fine and lively. There's an excellent playpark across the road and a pottery. “

We really loved the location- it was very quiet, we had access to a small grocery store right down the road, and were close to many of the top spots to visit on Skye. We also loved meeting our hosts Tricia and Neil, who were very kind, helpful, considerate and friendly. We will definitely be back! “

The kitchen facilities also left nothing to be desired.We particularly enjoyed the conservatory. It was always pleasantly warm here and the view of the garden is simply fantastic.As we were travelling in an electric car, we were also very pleased to be able to charge the car on the property.“
