„Das Haus liegt ruhig und etwas abseits der anderen Häuser im kleinen, beschaulichen Ort Thorpe bei Ashbourne. Um das Haus herum Wiesen und Berge, sehr gute Wandergelegenheiten in alle Richtungen. Das Haus war erstklassig ausgestattet und wunderschön. Der Pool und die Schwimmhalle waren durchweg beheizt und wahnsinnig toll! Ray war unglaublich hilfsbereit und nett! Wir würden definitiv wieder hier her kommen.“

„Wir hatten einen schönen Aufenthalt im sehr gemütlichen Cottage. Die Terrasse haben wir, so oft das Wetter es möglich machte, genutzt. Das Einchecken und die freundliche Kommunikation mit dem Vermieter waren völlig problemlos. Das nette Bakewell lädt zum Bummeln und Pub - Einkehr ein. Für nahe gelegene Schlossbesichtigungen und Wanderungen ein idealer Ausgangspunkt! Wir würde es wieder wählen!“

„Lovely spacious clean cottage, very well equipped. Owners were attentive nice people. Summer or winter very comfortable place to be. Good position for visiting lot's of places. Lovely patio to sit in looking out towards the cattle in the fields, watching sunset or rise! We would definitely stay again. Thank you.“

„Rundum klasse! Das Haus ist sehr liebevoll eingerichtet und ausgestattet. Für eine Familie genug Platz und auch an Kinder ist gedacht (Kindergeschirr, Spielzeug, Hochstuhl…). Der Vermieter ist jederzeit erreichbar und hat auch tolle Tipps für Ausflüge und Einkäufe. Die Lage ist klasse mit einem wunderschönen Ausblick über das Holme Valley, man erreicht die größeren Städte sowie auch Wandergebiete gut. Wie kommen auf jeden Fall wieder.“

„Excellent location for visiting Cheshire and Peak District. The cleanliness and standard of the furniture and fittings in the cottage could not be faulted and Brenda was very helpful. Outdoor space not private.“

„Well thought out cottage design very well presented but testing for size - just an extra 5% of space would yielded 20% increase in convenience and enjoyment. Hosts and neighbours are excellent. Parking is unusual but workable. As a couple (one Aussie and one Aussie born in Yorkshire) we really enjoyed our time at this cottage and would highly recommend it. Walk to village is 10 minutes and huge number of attractions within 40 mins.“
