„Our family if 4 (plus a friend of my 17-year old's) came to the New River Gorge for rafting & the bridge walk. The home is very convenient to ACE Adventures, & very private. We loved the fire pit & s'mores, Keurig was great- short drive to Fayetteville. Would recommend & will return. Soft towels, games & puzzles, & huge TV. Beds were comfy & we had an absolute blast! “

„Old house with basic decor. Not "white glove" clean but maybe I'm fussy. Comfortable beds and well equipped with supplies and the usual amenities. Location can't be beat - across the street from Hawks Nest State Park, with hiking trails, gift shop and overlooks to rival the New River Gorge National Park, a 15 minute drive away.“

„Cozy place near New River Gorge National Park. Everything you need is provided and very good communication with owner. Very close to lots of activities and restaurants. It is on the highway, so you will hear traffic, but the box fan provided in the bedroom created white noise to drown it out. Overall, excellent value for the area.“

„Property was as described, older cottage and clean. In a very quiet neighborhood up the road from the National Park Sandstone Visitors Center. There was quite a bit of train activity, up to 6 passes in the middle of the night. We knew about it from other reviews and it didn’t really bother us. We woke up and fell back asleep. “

„My partner and I (and our American Foxhound) stated here over Labor Day Weekend 2024. This location is PERFECT for any activities you might want to be doing in the New River Gorge National Park or in the surrounding towns. While we didn’t wind up cooking this time, the kitchen is well appointed with excellent cookware and good appliances. We are already planning to book this house for next Labor Day Weekend!“

„Coty was super responsive and answered all questions promptly. This property is a great location for families looking to do fun activities. We rented a SXS side-by-side which was a blast and also did horseback riding and white water rafting. There is a ton of deer and turkeys around the property and we all enjoyed watching them. One of the door handles is not properly screwed into the door and the shower doors are hard to open. „My sisters and I visited West Virginia in June. Communication was great from the owner and he even recommended hikes and places to eat. We loved the cabin and having a washer/dryer on site was an added bonus. Kitchen was basic equipped but worked for us. Loved the room darkening shades and beds were super comfy. Would recommend and definitely plan on visiting again “
