„The apartment was great, conveniently located for Newcastle City Center (within a short walk, or short hop on the Metro), Jesmond Metro station and restaurants and cafes in the local area. Check in via the adjacent Holiday Inn was quick and efficient and access to parking (free with the apartment!) was easy. „Nice, clean rooms in a beautiful old villa. Quiet location and close to Newcastle city center or shopping, just a few minutes by car. Very friendly hosts and staff, award winning restaurant on site and a nice garden - if the weather permits it. We enjoyed staying there and can recommend this hotel. “

„Basically a dorm room. TV didn’t work. Shower drain didnt work. The bed was awful. Noises construction outside the window. Construction workers looking into the room. I would not call this a VIP anything“

„The whole process of being able to stay there was awful. I had emails asking me to verify my identity but no correct link sent. I was threatened with a cancellation without refund desite the fact they had not given me the opportunity to do what they asked. Having finally been sent a link I verified and arrived to be told this was very common. At the property Fire Doors were constantly janmed open.“

„0/5 – Worst stay of my life. Plummer House Newcastle was an absolute disgrace from start to finish. The room was filthy on arrival — dirty sink and work surfaces, stained floors, damaged furniture, worn cabinets, filthy fridge, marked and stained chairs, and mugs that looked like they hadn’t been properly cleaned in months. This is not “student accommodation” or “serviced living” — it’s neglect. The female manager was rude and unprofessional, even trying to make me check out 12 hours earlier ...

„The check in was fast and friendly, the room is lovely, with a nice view. There was quite a lot of noise from the street below early in the morning and the church bells were regular throughout the night. The breakfast was a good amount but lukewarm spolt the vibe. The price we paid , i think was high for this standard.“

„Me and my 2 friends booked this holiday for 3 nights for a festival called Lost minds. We were wary at first as it’s a shared apartment with other people. Long story short we ended up booking and had absolutely no issue with the area or the people who was staying in the apartment. It’s round about 20/25 minute walk from the city centre & it’s easy accessible to get an uber also. We will definitely be booking when we come back to Newcastle. Only thing we never liked was NO TV & shared bathroom ...

"Es war gut zu erreichen. Wir hatten einen Parkplatz und Zimmer im gegenüber liegenden Haus. Kein Fahrstuhl und unsere Tochter musste zu ihrem Zimmer 6 Frierdchutztüren öffnen 😀 "

"Sehr schön gelegenes Hotel mit sehr freundlichem, hilfsbereitem Personal. Unser Zimmer war sehr gross und super ausgestattet mit neu renoviertem Bad in gutem Zustand. Die Betten waren sehr bequem. Das Hotel hat einen tollen Garten mit vielen Sitzgelegenheiten und einer schönen Aussicht auf die Brücke und den Fluss. Das Restaurant hat eine gute Auswahl an Speisen und wir haben sehr lecker gegessen. Das Frühstücksbuffet war sehr reichhaltig. Wir waren sehr zufrieden."

"Grosses, schönes Hotel an optimaler Lage beim Bahnhof. Grosszügiges Zimmer mit sehr bequemen Betten. Leider war es Nachts sehr heiss und das Fenster konnte nicht genügend geöffnet werden, damit etwas kühlere Luft ins Zimmer gelangt. Das Bad war gross mit genügend Ablagefläche und Möglichkeiten die Duschtücher aufzuhängen. Leider lief der Duschtuchwärmer die ganze Nacht und konnte nicht abgestellt werden ( und es war eben schon sehr heiss im Zimmer). Der Wasserhahn ist so am Lavabo angebracht, dass man sich nicht die Hände waschen kann und Wasser über das Lavabomöbel läuft. Wir liessen unsere Duschtücher, wie vom Hotel mittels angebrachtem Zettel vorgeschlagen hängen, so dass wir sie nochmals benützen können, aber das funktionierte leider nicht, alles wurde gewechselt. Das Frühstücksbuffet war teuer, aber sehr reichhaltig. Alle vom Personal waren sehr nett."
