„The property was clean, quiet, and bug free on the inside. It was definitely Michigan weather. Air conditioning in the morning and heat at night. Lol. The lake was pretty and the loons were singing at night and in the morning. At night you havr a great view of the northern sky. No dark sky park needed. Firewood and charcoal seemed to be provided, which was a really nice amenity. It was a short trip so sadly we didn't use any of it. Next time we'll come for a week. "Poorly soundproofed, had a room with a window into the hallway outside, basically no daylight. Felt I was in the basement. Was supposed to get an upgrade. Told me they were full. Had to buses. It read vacancy outside. Mackinaw city feels like a tourist trap. If you go offseason, don’t book ahead, go to one of the many motels."
