„Prince Rupert House is a very beautiful house on a country estate. It has an outdoor pool which our grandchildren loved. Also croquet, tennis court and lots of walks. We had no issues with the house … it slept 10 comfortably and would accommodate 12. Great place to go and relax. 25 minutes from York and 30 minutes from Harrogate. All in all a lovely time together as a family. No complains at all. I can heartily recommended this place. They also have smaller properties too.“

„Everything was wonderful. Our hosts even included a pack of biscuits and 500ml of milk in the fridge. The road up to the cottage is a well maintained farm road as long as you drive at no more than 10 mph. Very comfortable king size bed sith luxurious bath towels etc. The wifi worked well as did the tv although we hardly had it on. The towns of Pickering & Malton were less than 5 miles away, both with good & interesting shops. I look forward to returning on my next visit.“

„We were a party of five and really loved everything about this converted barn: The spacious layout, a well equipped kitchen, ensuite bathrooms and very comfy beds. The location made it possible to reach loads of things to do without long drives. The kids loved the animals and we all enjoyed our stay fully! Thanks Cyntra!“

„We had a great time at Postgate Barn. The barn is refurbished with plenty of work and a lot of love to a realy cozy and lovely location. It´s wonderfully quiet and it takes only a few steps into the moor. The accomodation includes everything for the stay, even everything for the first cuppa tea or coffee. Thanks for Mark an Moya for giving us a warm welcome. All of us enjoyed the time (even the teenagers due to technical equipment) and we hope to return sometime.“

„A very handy location with easy on-street parking right in front of the house. Well-equipped kitchen with complimentary, quality coffee and tea. Clean, up-to-date bathroom and towels with quality complimentary shampoo and shower gels. Comfortable master bedroom (as in photo) with good quality mattress, though the other two bedrooms had much lower beds which had less comfortable mattresses. Overall, accommodation was fine for a family of four, though there was no wardrobe hanging space available ...

„Absolutely amazing stay in the Garden House. The photos don't do it justice, a great space for relaxing, catching up with friends and partying. We were a group of 8, and having separate beds with all bedrooms with ensuite was ideal. There is a fabulous terrace but also access to the pool, tennis and croquet lawn as well as lovely walks from the front door. „Smaller downstairs than upstairs but the bathroom was nice and bedrooms large enough. However as in York for family funeral and only needed somewhere to sleep, location and facilites were not a real factor, sorry. Pity about the streetlight outside the bedroom window though“

„Stayed here as a family of 4 for a week in December (grown up kids). We found Jasmine Cottage very well setup and comfortable for our stay, with Angela quick to respond when a few queries for us came up. Local amenities extremely handy, in addition to being a well placed location for trips into York city centre.“

„High Oaks Grange is a beautiful property with a very high standard of fittings. We had everything we needed for a wonderful stay with old friends. There were plenty of things to do locally and we loved the area. One highlight was a meal cooked for us in the Grange by Chef Dan Graham. We would thoroughly recommend him. as would we would highly recommend The Grange for a large group. We hope to return in the future.“

"The centre of York was easy to reach, nice and serene location. We would have given 5 stars when the cleaning staff had not messed up: 1 day not cleaning the room but tagging it off on their working list. Next day only partly cleaning the room and putting some content of the bin as display in the room. (revenge?). The first failure was apologised for by the receptionist who gave us a free drink voucher to make up for the mistake. Just a pity that the bartender started to refuse the voucher initially when he saw it, even before I could order anything. What the staff behind the front desk tries to “rescue” is ruined by other service staff members: here is some improvement possible. If this hadn’t happened, we would rated the hotel 5 starts for our 5 nights stay."
