„The cottage is in such a beautiful setting, there’s a bluebell meadow right outside the back door. There’s also a great dog field just a few minutes walk from the door. Very handy to give the dog a run around after a long drive! The cottage is very clean and tidy inside and very cosy. Unfortunately we didn’t get to try the log burner as the weather was too nice - not something to complain about though I suppose! We will definitely look to come back in the near future. “

„The property all on ground floor which was great close to the hospital. It was local to where we were meeting relatives for a long weekend away. Very clean and well heated and wifi was ok. Only negatives were we couldnt find a toaster or a wire grill to toast in oven and after contacting host re hairdryer was told in was broken. Luckily I washed by hair the day we travelled and its just about ok 3 days later. Would have took mine if known but itinery specified one.“

The bathroom was in poor condition aside from the cleanliness issue. Find something else, you have been warned!!“

„The house is really nice and offers plenty of space for a bigger group of people as it has a big living room with cosy fireplace, a really big and well equipped kitchen, a big table where you can gather to eat. Also really nice sleeping rooms with enough showers/toilets. „Wir haben eine Woche mit 6 Personen im Eckford-House verbracht und waren leider etwas enttäuscht. Die Lage ist prima. Nach Dunoon sind es nur 10 Minuten und auch in den Argyll-Forest und zu vielen darin angesiedelten Wanderungen ist es nicht weit, bzw sind zu Fuß zu erreichen. Das Haus entsprach leider nicht dem Standard welchen wir von den Bildern vermutet hatten. Alles war handwerklich eher im schwierigen Zustand. „The property was very nice for staying a few days with friends. There were some small issues with locks and cabinets breaking but overall not too bad. We did however have to vacate one of the rooms due to a problem with bees, however the owners were very lovely, easy to contact, and did everything they could to help us with this.
