„This cottage was cute as can be! The beds were comfortable, although not queen beds. One kid slept comfortably on the couch. We could see the lake from the front of the house and the kitchen. We enjoyed sitting in the chairs at the front porch, hear the water as you watch people walk by or drive by in their golf carts and waved. It was a nice little neighborhood. Its relaxing to be close to the water, and there's a little boat ramp a short walk away where there were people fishing and the kids ...

„Beautiful, quiet, peaceful. Close enough to Alpena that you can experience some of what a city has to offer, far enough away that you have peace and quiet. The kayaks got put to use on the river and everything that we could need had been thought of. Plenty of dishes to use. Plenty of chairs to sit by the fire. Plenty of firewood to burn. Check-in was stress-free. We met the host for a quick tour and they were available via text if we had any need. Cell reception in the area was spotty, ...
