„Beginning with the booking and first contact with Deb, all went as smoothly as possible. She answers straight away and is very friendly and helpful. The house was, thanks to Lucy, spotless, beautiful and superbly equipped with a very comfy bed, located in a quiet cul de sac in lovely Saffron Walden. „Really nice cottage style property with a log burner and really comfy beds. Only warning would be the stairs as they're pretty steep and the bathroom is downstairs if you need to get up in the middle of the night.“

„Family of five stayed for a birthday weekend. Beautiful homely spacious cottage, perfect for a group or family. Ensuite bathrooms ensured everyone had space & privacy. The garden is perfect for relaxing & games room brought the family together for valuable social time. It is beside a busy A road, so not exactly quiet. So not ideal for a light sleeper. The lakes were not accessible on foot so a drive into St Neots, to the park, river, pubs, shops & cafes was ideal.“

„The house is new and tidy, There is only one little problem, there is not enough Utensil in the kitchen, Only two forks and two spoons. Other than that, Everything is awesome! Thank you so much for your hospitality!“

„We truly enjoyed our short stay in Linton. This cottage was wonderful. We were greeted by beautiful flowers in the front! The cottage is nicely appointed with everything we needed. We appreciated the selection of teas! We also enjoyed reading the history of the ownership of the cottage, dating back to 1604. We enjoyed the coffee shop next door and The Dog and Duck down the street. The cottage was a perfect place to start our exploration of England. Thanks, Louise, for a lovely stay!“

"das Hotel hat zum Ende des kostenfreien Storno Zeitpunktes ohne meine Zustimmung meine Kreditkarte belastet. Obwohl beim Buchen über Hotels.com „zahlen im Hotel „ ausgewählt wurde. Außerdem 20£ für die Tiefgarage wo außerhalb des Hotels für max. 4 Stunden geparkt werden durfte, finde ich zuviel."

"Very tastefully decorated room with crafted warm wood & muted colors. Comfortable armchair. Very clean bathroom with decent water pressure. The bar was a highlight as well, lovely traditional vibe with very comfortable seating & great views. Accomplished next-level drinks & outstanding cream tea with enough clotted cream (somehow places never serve enough) & truly excellent scones. They’re a national staple but good ones are so hard to find. "

"Das Hotel war an sich in Ordnung. Leider war das Zimmer sehr warm. Klimaanlage gab es nicht und das Fenster hätte man Max 10cm öffnen können, was wir aber wegen den ganzen Insekten davor auch nur kurz gemacht haben. Für die 25£/Nacht bekam der Hund beim Check in ein extra Türschild (Do Not disturb/attention mit einer Pfote) und mehrmals den Hinweis den Hund nie, nie alleine im Zimmer zu lassen. Außerdem gab es auf dem ganzen Gelände und im Hotel keinen Mülleimer außer im Zimmer."
