„Mike and Mari are exceptional hosts. They checked in us and even went above and beyond to send me and mom a gift as we were celebrating some special bdays! The beach is fabulous, soft sand and clear water. The cottage itself was clean and had everything we needed. Comfortable furniture, lots of games and the decor was relaxing. Perfect vacation mode!Our pups had a great time swimming and relaxing with us. Morning sunrise is stunning if you get up nice and early.I look forward to visiting again!“

„This house is family friendly. It is spacious and clean. I loved that there was outdoor furniture to sit on to enjoy the view of the beach. The view was amazing. The bathtub/showers were clean. The beds were comfortable. Our only complaint was that parking for two vehicles was too tight in the driveway. “

„The host was tremendous. The cottage was 60’s-style, well cared for, and cozy. The beds were comfortable. We were a short walk away from huge, calm, beautiful Hubbard Lake. The kitchen was well stocked and the stove, fridge, and microwave were in great shape and functioning properly. The WiFi and air condo worked great. „The cabin was great!!! Super clean and beautifully decorated. Kitchen was well stocked with all needed utensils. Lovely, considerate extras: ice, bottled water, fresh flowers, and so much more! We spent 2 nights as a couple and 2 more as grandparents of 2 boys (3&10). Such valuable memories and happy experiences. Beach was quiet and clean with anything you could hope for!!! So grateful for Carmen’s generosity. “

„Wonderful week at a remote waterfront Lake Huron house. Bring everything you will need, as you are 30 minutes north of Oscoda and about 30 minutes south of Alpena. There is a dollar general nearby and a wonderful restaurant 10 min north but true shopping is limited. The house is spacious and located just off a rocky shore beach point with great access for swimming, canoeing, kayaking, paddleboarding, etc. Recommend bringing drinking water as well. „We were thrilled to be on the Thunder Bay river. My family likes to fish off the dock. It is shallow at this point and peacful. We were able to use one kayak. The second kayak was too filled with rain.water and too heavy for us to turn over and drain it. The deck is a lovely place to sit or eat and watch the river, except that the seat cushions were soaked with rain water also. I suggest a deck storage box to store the seat cushions when not in use. this will keep them dry and ready for use. ...

„It was beautiful...inside and out. Comfortable seating, comfortable sleeping, good eating areas, the remodeled kitchen was great...all of the remodels were great! The dishes, cookware and appliances provided, made food prep easy. And clean up was a cinch with the new dishwasher. The sandy beach was pristine and we enjoyed relaxing on the beach looking out across Lake Huron...so breathtaking. It was the perfect setting for our family get together. Thank you.“
