Horrible experience on all levels. I went to check in and they said there were no rooms avaliable even though a had pre booked ahead. They moved me to a sister hotel down the road only for 1 out if my 2 nights.
The room was full of mold, top to bottom. I went to ask the receptionist for a different room and he said there were non available. So I grabbed my bags and went back to the original hotel to get a refund and look for somewhere else to stay at 10 pm. Magically, they were able to find another room at hotel #2 even though I was just told the were non avaliable.
Fortunately this new room had a fresh coat of paint over the mold so I got a buzz to help me fall asleep and forget about it. Unfortunately I woke up with a bad headache and had to cancel my non-refundable day trip so I could switch rooms mid day.
They told me I needed to switch rooms at 12pm . So I put a do not disturb sign up and went for breakfast. When I came back at 11am to organize my belongings and switch rooms, it was full of staff cleaning around my belongings. At first I thought I was hallucinating from the paint fumes, but after pinching myself I realized this was actually happening. At this point I just stayed silent, partly because I was in shock, and partly because of the buzz of the paint was wearing off. I highly dont recommend this hotel. It is unfortunate because the local is very good. I wouldn't wish this costly experience on my worst enemy.
