„This place had some lovely little touches to it, from the trolly cart to ferry our belongings to a receiving a welcome letter from Charlie. We had a lovely couple of days here. Spent time in the hot tub and the evenings by the fire pit after having a lovely BBQ. There were kids in the fields behind paying foot ball in what must have been their back garden which that's perfectly fine but i think the swearing shocked us a little bit. However that said we still had a lovely time. Felt sad ...

„Absolutely beautiful cottage, couldn't have wished for more and Lou was an amazing host. Thank you Lou for making me feel so welcome. I will definitely be returning x“

„Rural location, perfect for peace and quiet. Appears beautifully old but with modern conveniences. Friendly owners who were attentive but not intrusive. Also keen to know how they could improve our stay. Plenty of dog walks nearby. Stunning building with a great story .. Warm and cosy inside. Maybe tricky staircases to bedrooms for some??? Worth investigating beforehand but not a problem for us. Relaxing stay.“

„Property was lovely and totally suited our needs - no fighting over rooms as they were all spacious with lovely en-suites !! Check in was hassle free with an entrance code. Tea coffee and milk was supplied. There were a few stains on the sofas but everything else was spotless. “

„A splendid family UK holiday. Lou was a fantastic host and Dedham was such a lovely town. Tallow Factory was warm and inviting. Would definitely stay again.“

„Nicely appointed little cottage. Very clean and warm in February. Owner very nice and accommodating“

The bed is comfortable, the surrounding area is very quiet at night, and the shower has good water pressure and temperature. The owners are a lovely couple who are friendly and who also respect ...

„Very nice quaint cottage everything you need for a comfortable stay. Bed very comfy. The only downside for me was the very steep narrow stairs but were manageable. The owner was very nice and helpful lovely breakfast basket left in the kitchen with bacon eggs tomatoes bread butter and milk. A fire made in the grate just needed lighting. I had a very pleasant stay would definitely stay there again.“

„Sadly we found the traffic noise quite intrusive.“

„We absolutely love Walnut Cottage. It is like a home from home, so cosy and comfortable. The owners and the caretaker are so lovely and helpful. The kitchen has everything we need. We love the fire and the garden and the cottage is beautiful. We always take our dogs and they love it too. Lots of nice walks locally, lots of shops nearby for food shopping and lovely places to visit. The road outside can be busy but inside we don’t notice and the cottage more than makes up for it. We would love ...
