„The cabin was very comfortable and well-furnished. Plenty of hot water and a good shower. The air conditioner worked particularly well. The location was just what we were looking for—on the banks of a slough that connected to Big Cypress Bayou. We were able to put in right by the cabin, but we weren’t bothered by the boat traffic out on the bayou. “

The way they documented the history & transformation of the Church House was really remarkable. We loved the history of the area! „We were in Longview for a baby shower for our 14th great grandchild. The property was OUTSTANDING! Completely the same as pictured on the VRBO site. Sitting on the deck overlooking the golf course was very pleasant. The bedrooms comfortable and nicely decorated, the living room and kitchen spacious and the garage a plus! The downtown area is within walking distance although we found that most places close early during the week. The neighbourhood is great for walking around. There are not many cars on the roads.“

Only a couple of minor issues - the house is pretty close to the highway so there was some road noise but a fan in the bedroom provided enough white noise to cover it. The cabin was very clean and had plenty of room for four adult friends to have there own bed. There is a loft with a bed but didn't use it. Old guys don't like steep ladders.
