„We stayed off season and the weather could have been better. We had an issue with the door lock which could have been avoided if the key code had been texted or emailed instead of spoken over a poor connection. The cottage was clean and roomy. We stayed in the 1st floor bedroom which really needs a new mattress. The location is perfect for viewing Lake Huron without obstruction. Even with the windows closed you can hear the waves lap the shore.“

„We had a pleasant experience. The only problem was when we moved a fire pit closer to our cabin because the are was vacant (5 fire pits only 8 cabins, which needs to be addressed). The man who checks on the property came over and stated he drove by to talk to us earlier, but we were not at the cabin, which (a) seems like stalking and (b) his tone and the way he was leering at my daughter in law were not appreciated. „Arrived at the property in the wee hours of the morning. Almost pitch black, I couldn’t find the lockbox. Thinking that the box was on the outside of the house, walked around for a hood twenty minutes before realizing that the box might be inside the house. That was keystone cop moment. This is not a negative review, but a learning experience for me. Next time, arrive when it’s daylight. Otherwise, it was a positive experience. The property was well maintained. Deck needs a hand rail. First step is too steep. For a "To do nothing weekend " it was perfect, pretty much stayed outside. Never left the property, other than go to the store.“
