Das Bett war bequem aber etwas klein für zwei große Menschen. Die Vorhänge dunkeln nicht ab, daher war es zu hell zum schlafen. Sonst alles perfekt. Super ausgestattet und sauber.

Tout était parfait et tout ce qui était visible était très propre. La vue était agréable, le lit très bon la cuisine très bien équipée. Hélas le four et les lèches frites étaient sales et gras et rien ne permettait de les nettoyer. C'est l'unique raison pour laquelle je n'ai pas mis le maximum. Mais le séjour fut malgré tout très bien et je le recommande (mais venez avec une éponge 😁)

This apartment is clean and functional. However, a few things to be aware of:- - the view and location is not ideal - whilst it has a "sea view", it is actually partly a harbour view, and partly looking at a harbour wall and tonnes of aggregate in bags. It's much more industrial than the pictures would have you think. The location is also in a street with derelict buildings, and isn't on the side of town with the mountain in the background. Secondly, there are a few niggles - the curtains keep falling off their hooks. Then when the wind blows, it whistles through the door - it was really very loud (we had gale force winds). In the end, we booked a different place for our second night, as staying here was just not great and not enjoyable. When the weather is bad, also to note, there is no TV. The policy of keeping usable food though is really good - nice to see a bit of olive oil etc. available for the next guests rather than it always being thrown away.

Staff is very nice. We check in earlier, room note ready yet, the girl give us parking key to let’s parking our car first. Location is good, walkable in the city. Breakfast is good also.

The room is pretty clean, (Spotless) it has nice kitchen Amenity. Three Coffee Pots (which is excellent). I only drink instant coffee and I need a bigger pot for making my instant Caramel Macchiato coffee. We only used the room for one night to rest (For Kirkjufell waterfalls and Aurora Borealis Photography) The room is sufficient enough for one night.

Highly recommend

My wife and I loved the apartment. The hallways in the building have a very strong smell of cigarette smoke, but inside the apartment is very clean and comfortable. Parking wasn't as convenient as I would have liked, but we got lucky and eventually got a parking spot right next to the building.

I have mixed feelings about this place. On one hand the apartment is nice and I liked it, but the management that run it are so unprofessional and caused me a lot of grief. First I'll tell you about the apartment, it's very convenient for Kirkjufell and is in the town centre. It has kitchen and double bed and everything to make your stay comfortable. It's like brand new. If you decide to book with them make sure you contact them before arriving to get a code from them. We booked 2 nights in Sept 2024 via Expedia. 48 hours before I was due to check in I received an email from Hafnir apartments with instructions. It said that I would be staying in apartment 2, and check in time is 5pm onwards. The apartment doors would be open and the key would be inside. Fair enough I thought. On arrival however it was locked. There was a key box outside but I couldn't open it as I didn't have a code. I emailed, sent sms, messaged via Expedia messenger and phoned the management but could not get hold of anyone to open the apartment or get a code for the key box. I waited in the cold for an hour before giving up and had to book a room at another hotel 40 mins drive away last minute. Next morning I finally got through, they were not apologetic and blamed Expedia saying Expedia gave the wrong instructions and that I was not the first Expedia customer to have problems. This is despite their guest book in the apartment having the same instructions they sent me. They were Clearly lying.

The apartment is a studio of about 30 sq meters. It is well furnished with a washer and a dryer. Located next to the ocean in a small town, it is convenient and walkable. The location of the apartment is misleading. Its entrance is on the back street. It will be great if the owner includes a map in the instructions.
