Gutes Hotel
Übernachtung im Haupthaus und umliegenden Häusern auf den Nachbargrundstücken. Das Restaurant ist hervorragend, das kontinentale Frühstück sehr gut. Die Bar scheint ein beliebter Treffpunkt im Ort zu sein, um ein oder auch mehrere Feierabendbiere einzunehmen. Gut zum Gucken und auch zur Unterhaltung.

We had 2 different rooms. Both were very clean and spacious. It was a bit strange that 1 was at a different location just down the road a shor bit. Less than a 1/2 mile but was not adequately marked or lighted for arriving in the darkness. The second location was a complete house or cottage and was very spacious and cute. Once we were in we were excited to stay in a quaint location but seemed strange at first. I would recommend either location for a stay with a group.

We stayed in the Sedden suite. It was a glorious furnished and decorated in high Victorian style. Included a antique sleigh bed, a Victorian dining room/living room. The bathroom included a claw footed bathtub. It was a real treat.

A unique suite of rooms in the renovated old New Zealand bank. Beautifully fitted out in period style. Excellent fish and chips in the main hotel restaurant. Only downside was some traffic noise intermittently through the night.

A beautiful room out of imagination!
We were so happy for our choice on hotels! This one goes to the top for our satisfaction! It’s a big one bedroom apartment with traditional decorations! The bathroom is big and nice with shower and tub! Two sinks! The living room has a king bed! We did not touch the bedroom so the host did not need to clean.

The property is very nice and clean. Everything is good except the place is in somewhere nowhere. You need to drive 25 minutes to the nearest town, Greymount, to get anything. But the town is big and has two supermarkets and decent restaurants.

One of the best places we have stayed. The Seddan suite was amazing! Very vintage. The furniture was antique, made us feel like royalty. The only thing was there was a musty smell. Other than that it was perfect. Dinner was excellent, just a short stroll across the road to the pub. We will definately stay again on our next trip down South.

Better choice in this area
The interior design of the entire hotel has a nostalgic feel. The bathroom is very spacious and clean. The only drawback is that there is not much space to put things in the room, and the sound insulation from the outside of the hotel is not very good.

Interesting 2 day stay. Kumara has so much history to explore. Nice to have a communal sitting room as well as bedroom. Had a pleasant bar meal.

Fantastic hotel in a really interesting historical village. Some lovely walks near bye, easy loop walks through old gold mining tailings. Restaurant was unbelievable, best pizza 🍕 we have ever had. Dietary requirements provided for well and staff were friendly and welcoming. Overall a 10 out of 10. Well done!!!

Loved our time on the west coast
We had a fantastic stay and highly recommend to anyone visiting the west coast , location was central for us to do all local tourist activities up and down the coast
