Ein etwas in die Jahre gekommenes Haus, aber mit einem fantastischen Pool, einem haus-eigenen Strand (mit Lift vom Hotel ans Wasser!) und ideal für Leute, die Flugzeuge gucken wollen.

Großes in Corfu city nähe gelegenes Hotel
großes Hotel in einer wunderschönen Lage (Kanoni) die Innenstadt von Corfu ist sehr leicht und schnell zu erreichen großer außen Pool mit allen gastronomischen Annehmlichkeiten. Hotel eigener Strand den man mit dem Lift ohne Probleme erreichen kann . das Hotel besitzt eine eigene Tiefgarage. Man merkt dem Hotel seine Jahre an, aber im allgemeinen nichts dramatisches . Das Hotel ist sehr sauber und man bemüht sich das der Kunde sich wohlfühlt Das Hotel Personal ist sehr Freundlich und sehr Hilfsbereit.

Hotel ist gut gelegen zur Stadt , wifi super funktioniert, obwohl jeden Tag Flugzeuge drüber fliegen und es laut war haben wir das eher als spektakulär empfunden. Frühstücksbüffet war super . Großer Pool zum Schwimmen, Lift zum Strand war echt cool.Aber eher 4 Stern.

Traditionelles Hotel am Meer
Die Lage vom Hotel ist das Beste am Hotel, wenn man kein Zimmer mit Ausblick erhält. Nah an Korfu-Stadt und direkt am Meer mit "eigenem" Strand und süßen kleinen Restaurants in der Nähe ist das einzige Manko der nahe gelegene Flughafen.

Hotel in Flughafennähe
Das Hotel liegt unmittelbar neben dem Flughafen von Korfu. Wenn man ein Zimmer ohne Meerblick hat kann man das Geschehen auf dem Rollfeld beobachten, was auch ein erhöhten Geräuchspegel zur Folge hat. Das Hotel ist in den 70er Jahren erbaut. An einigen Stellen ist das Alter auch durchaus zu bemerken, besonders an der Inneneinrichtung. Die Sauberkeit in den Zimmer ist in Ordnung, jedoch nicht mehr. Wer wie wir nicht viel Zeit im Hotel verbringt, sondern die Insel erkundet ist dort gut aufgehoben. Lobenswert ist, dass Parkplätze kostenlos zu Verfügung stehen.

Schönes Hotel leider durch Fluglärm beeinträchtigt
eine Woche Aufenthalt in dem Hotel mit nettem Personal, v.a. am Pool, direkte Strandlage hervorragend, bereits im Juni zu wenige Liegen und Sonnenschirma am Pool obwohl der Bademeister immer sehr bemüht ist - mag mir nicht ausmalen wie das im Hochsommer ist; total nette Kellner an der Poolbar, an der Strandbar eher muffig.... Zimmer immer sauber, großes Bad mit Wanne, nette Terrasse. Frühstück auch jetzt im Juni bereits eher chaotisch, das mag im Hochsommer sicher auch nicht zum Wohlfühlen beitragen, Buffet zu eng, zu viele Leute, Auswahl ok, aber nicht überdrüber. gebucht hatte ich ein Bungalow-Zimmer, bekommen ein Zimmer im letzten Stock, welches laut Internet wirklich um € 10.- teurer gewesen wäre! Der Fluglärm kann wirklich sehr laut werden, sehr schön Kloster Vlacherna mit Mäuseinsel direkt neben dem Hotel und Palast Mon Repos, gratis WLan im Zimmer und in der Lobby, gratis Wasser und Obst am Zimmer bei Ankunft

Not a 5 star- food terrible - unhelpful staff
This is not a 5 star hotel- it might have facilities, but they are old and tired, like the building. The service is below par- front staff desk were unhelpful. I was given a different room to the one I booked, I arrived late afternoon and was assured if I came back at 10am the following morning they would try to arrange a different room. At 9:50 when I returned. I was told it was not possible. Zero attempt was made to accommodate my request. The host and waiting staff in restaurant were friendly, but other members of staff were there milling around and filling up plates for themselves at breakfast and dinner from the buffet and I even saw one of the chefs picking at the food in the trays with his fingers and eating when guests were in the vicinity. Disgusting and unhygienic. Plenty of choice, but the food was low quality. The indoor pool didn’t look usable. The outdoor pool was old and tired. Water looked dirty. Not enough Sun loungers for guests at either pool or beach. Carpets and interiors in the throughout were from the 1970s and generally tired. I checked out a day early and the front desk didn’t ask (i) why I was checking out a day early, or (ii) if I had enjoyed my stay- I assume they knew why and I assume this happens a lot. Do not waste your money on this hotel. Awful experience.

This is an excellent hotel with ample parking, great facilities and a good breakfast. Pool and beach are excellent. Only thing to be mindful of is that there is little in the way of shops in the area and there is noise from the airport almost constantly.

Joli hôtel. L’équipe est très sympathique et professionnelle. Buffet du petit déjeuner au top. Plage en contrebas dans une crique géniale. En revanche, 2 gros problèmes : l’aéroport est juste à côté donc un bruit assourdissant en continu et en fin de journée plus d’eau chaude ni de débit dans la douche de notre chambre.

Disappointing!
Firstly, i would never class this hotel as a 5 star! Very outdated basic rooms that you would expect in a 3 star. The man behind the countee at reception seemed like he hated his job, very moody looking. The "beach" is accessable from a cable cart like sky resort, this is definitely not beach front. Please dont stay here, hotels such as "Domes" by mariott, are amazing, no comparison!

Awful place. Hotel Failed to provide us with the accommodation we had booked and paid for and staff member on duty on our arrival virtually admitted we’d been expedia had sold us the superior bungalow too cheaply. In short they had sold our superior bungalow accommodation to someone else for more money and tried to fob us off with a greatly inferior standard double room saying we could and should not expect to be provided with the type of accommodation that we had booked and paid for! They stated they couldn’t offer us anything else as supposedly full and (even tho superior rooms were on offer on website) As we discovered, it was a dreadful place anyway suffering from thunderous noise most of the night from planes taking off and arriving at the airport which is extremely close to the hotel. Although it was distressing to spend one night in a substandard , old and worn room, the fact we were forced to find an alternative place to stay for the rest of our trip did us a huge favour, as we obtained a lovely far superior place in Corfu old town and received a refund from expedia for the remaining nights we didn’t spend st Corfu Holiday palace Given the stress and anxiety this hotel caused us they it was not fair that they extracted from us not payment for the first night we were forced to stay there but we were so desperate to get out of there we would have left even without a refund.

The bungalow’s pool is truly amazing!! Incredible views on the bay. But the bungalow itself is a bit basic though the bathroom is lovely and the main bed very comfy. The bungalow sliding door to the wonderful pool is super stiff. Also the air conditioning is in the living space of bungalow so doesn’t reach much of the bedroom space…though we didn’t feel hot but not cool either. Lunch by the main pool was delicious but the buffet dinner at night was pretty rubbish except for the salads! There is a sushi and fine dine restaurant and this is what I’ll try if I return. For a couple of days this hotel bungalow is an ideal spot for its scenery and almost private pool! Staff friendly but a couple of waitress weren’t. Right next to airport so if you like plane spotting : you will be spot on to hear and see them landing and take -off. Good standards of Cleanliness. Hope this helps!

Väldigt slitet hotell. Definitivt inte femstjärnigt snarare tre! Dåliga rum ännu sämre frukost. Dålig städning. Inget miljötänk över huvud taget. Flygen hörs tydligt dygnet runt. Bo hellre i Korfu stad, väldigt mysigt o möjlighet till bad.

Nice hotel
We had an enjoyable 4 night stay in a superior bungalow. The hotel was very nice and staff were helpful. The breakfast and pool food were excellent and good value for money. Location is right on the airport so was noisy at times, however it was fun seeing the planes coming in and taking off so overall it was actually a positive for us. The hotel has a bus stop right outside and it’s an easy 15-20 ride into the centre of town. The hotel was very clean and tidy.

On island of Corfu, this hotel offers private hotel bench using a Tram up and down. Perfect location aside from nearest to airport. Therefore, could only recommend rooms facing Sea to avoid aircraft noise.
