The hotel itself was ok, but the man at the front office was horrendous. Very rude, which was surprising and unexpected! Made us not want to come back to Naxos ever again. It’s such a shame as the Lagos Mare Hotel opposite was the polar opposite, nice staff and had an overall much nicer atmosphere.

Das Hotel hat klar mehr als 2 Sterne verdient! Wir waren 14 Tage dort und begeistert. Das Frühstück ist frisch und vielseitig, es hat alles was man braucht. Tolle Rooftop zum verweilen Es kann auch der Hotelpool mit Poolbar vis a vis der kleinen Kiesstrasse mitbenutzt werden. Der Besitzer und sein Team waren einfach nur Klasse und haben uns tolle Tipps für alles gegeben. So stellt man sich Gastfreundschaft vor... BRAVO

Sehr schönes Hotel, super netter Service
Das Hotel ist sehr Sauber, der Service ist sehr nett und die Lager gut, wenn man in Strandnähe sein will. Auch in die nächste Stadt kommt man problemlos mit dem Bus, der fast vor der Türe hält. Jederzeit wieder. Danke!

Wie immer super
Wir waren zum zweiten mal im Camara Hotel und wieder sehr zufrieden. Das hotel ist klein, ruhig,sauber und sehr liebevoll zurecht gemacht. Zum wunderschönen Strand von Prokopios sind es ca. 10 min zu Fuß. Stavros der Hotelbesitzer ist täglich vorort und hilft wo er kann. Das Frühstück kann man für 6 Euro am Tag dazubuchen. Es ist klein aber fein.

4 Sterne zum 2 Sterne-Preis
Unglaublich geschmack- und liebevoll eingerichtetes kleines Hotel. Pieksauber! Warum es nur 2 Sterne hat, ist uns ein Rätsel. Aber das Beste sind eindeutig Stavros und Popi, seine Mitarbeiterin für alle Fälle. Stavros ist ständig darauf bedacht, den Aufenthalt so angenehm wie möglich zu machen und lässt sofort alles stehen und liegen, wenn er helfen kann. Mit Popi haben wir uns bestens "unterhalten", sie spricht kein Englisch, wir kein Griechisch. Wir hatten das Gefühl, mehr als nur Gäste zu sein. Wir können dieses Hotel uneingeschränkt empfehlen.

Ideales Hotel für alle
Das Camara Hotel hat alles, was man für einen entspannten Urlaub braucht: super hilfsbereites Personal, gemütliche und helle Zimmer mit einem kleinen Balkon und Kühlschrank, täglicher Zimmerservice, mit Glück Meerblick, 5-7 Minuten Fußweg zu einem Traumstrand, Bushaltestelle in der Nähe, um nach Naxos-Stadt zu fahren, alles im Ort fußläufig zu erreichen, entspannte Atmosphäre. Besonders bei Fragen und Wünschen hat der liebe Hotelbesitzer Stavros sofort geholfen. Ihm ist sehr daran gelegen, dass es seinen Gästen gut geht und daher haben wir rund um einen wunderbaren Urlaub gehabt. Unbedingt zu empfehlen, wenn man mit einem einfachen und ordentlichen Standard zufrieden ist.

We were previously in an Airbnb where we had the worst nights sleep. Having had our ferry cancel we booked Camara. The lady at reception was lovely and made us feel so welcome straight away. The bed was extremely comfortable and the room spacious. I would recommend

Great hotel really close to the beach and supermarket. Comfortable and clean. Staff is very friendly and will give you reccommendations on where to go. Breakfast area is nice, but maybe not so varied food. Overall a good experience, and will reccommend it to people wanting to experience Naxos.

Situé très proche du centre ce petit hôtel très propre au calme se trouve dans une rue tranquille. le personnel très agréable et efficace vous communiquera des infos pour votre séjour. The property was clean, the staff most helpful no matter what you needed or wanted to know and quiet. Walking into the main part of the town was just a short walk (they need sidewalks) and the beaches were amazing.

Very happy experience
We couldn’t be happier with our stay, Stavros, Stella and the rest of the staff attended to all our needs quickly and efficiently. Rooms are basic but very comfortable, choices of mattress and pillows, shower area kind of small but that is room design. WiFi very good and roof terrace is a very nice touch. Breakfast choices were excellent and tasty. Location is good only 10 minutes walk to the beach, local bus stop right at the corner and availability of pool use with hotel just across. We highly recommend Camara hotel. Thank you Stavros and Stella for all your help.

6 nights and a great stay. The staff were so lovely and welcoming, chatting with us every day. Stavros, Stella, Maria and Poppy were just beautiful. The hotel is spotless. Breakfast is delicious with new treats each day and we loved the pool across the road and happily bought drinks there. The bus stop is a couple of minutes walk and we caught the bus many times to Hora and Plaka. We also used the beach at Prokopious but enjoyed Plaka because it was less crowded. The cafes, restaurants, supermarket, and beach were all a short walk away. This is a quiet hotel, away from the hustle & bustle with lovely views from our balcony and the roof top terrace. We loved Naxos and Camara-we would definitely stay there again.

Wonderful little hotel!
Highly recommend this hotel. It was the nicest we’ve stayed in on our island hopping trip and ironically the cheapest too. Great value for money. The breakfast was lovely-always something fresh and new each day. Loved the little pastries. Clean, modern room with a balcony. The pool is 10 seconds away in the next hotel and is really good. The beach is a 5-7 minutes walk away. There’s a bus stop outside the hotel but a taxi is only €10 to Náxos town. Incredibly friendly staff-they honestly can’t do enough for you. We’re now in Mykonos and would love to go back to Camara. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

Great stay in Agios Prokopios
We had a great stay in Naxos at Camara Hotel. The hotel is at a 7 minutes walk from the beach of Agios Prokopios. The staff is very polite and always smiling. They just want you to fell welcomed. And that we did feel. They give you all the information you need, bus tickets, call you a cab. The breakfast is just enough to start your day, the rooms are very clean. If you get tired of the beach you can take advantage of the pool of the Lagos Mare hotel just in front. There also we found great people that made us feel welcome. Thank you

Staff are very accommodating and listen to guests (as seen by their actions in response to previous suggestions). My room was fine and adequately equipped for a week although if staying longer a comfortable chair in the room would be nice as well as a more varied breakfast a couple of days a week would work.
