„Great place directly across the road from Creeper Trail/AT. The house had everything we needed and no problem getting checked in. Damascus is a great town with hiking and restaurants. The house was basically very clean except for some of the fine details - baseboards and things like that. We'd stay again in a heartbeat and recommend this cute house to anyone.“

„The property was nice and secluded. We brought our dogs and they had plenty of room to play around. The house was so corky and cute! We really enjoyed sitting out on the deck at night and star gazing! There was zero light pollution and I even saw a shooting star! We had a blast and definitely recommend this place“

„A wonderful place to stay! Property was clean, stocked with the necessities, and the location was perfect: About 20-30min from downtown Boone, Blowing Rock, and plenty of hikes/overlooks on the Blue Ridge Parkway. The host was kind and communicative, and being right on the New River was amazing--each day, I was able to watch beavers, otters, deer, etc. all from the deck. Grateful I was able to stay here, and highly recommend if you're looking for a spot in Boone!“

„We enjoyed the quiet and remote features of this private Lansing oasis. Unfortunately while the gas fireplace wasn't working, we were able to run into town and buy wood for the wood burning stove. Definitely recommend for a winter getaway and know the gas fireplace will be repaired soon. Property manager was quick to respond and contact the appropriate maintenance staff. „I rented the cabin by myself for 4 nights because I was running the New River Marathon. It is a beautiful area and the cabin was perfect and way more than enough for 1 person. The area is rugged…my Jeep definitely got workout. Only complaints stem from the hot tub…got a bad skin infection from it and had to take antibiotics for 10 days to clear it up. The hot tub is also surrounded by beautiful flowering bushes which is fine as long as you are ok with bee’s…they are pretty busy in that area. ...

„It was very quiet and peaceful at night and during the day as well. It was nice to have a dishwasher in a cabin. We drove to Grayson Highlands and hiked 2 different days. „We found the cabin to be enjoyable. The mission of our trip was to trout fish, which we did...however we traveled to a different creek that we had fished before. "POSITIV Schönes, historisches Hotel im Zentrum der Kleinstadt Marion, VA Gemütliches, sauberes Zimmer mit historischem Charme. Freundliches Personal ZU VERBESSERN Auch als historisches Hotel würden einige Auffrischungen und Renovierungen nicht schaden. Gläser statt Plastikbecher auf dem Zimmer wäre toll. Gäste im Nebenzimmer durch Verbindungstür laut zu hören. Treppenstufen, um zur Lobby (ab dort Lift) zu kommen, bei schwerem Gepäck unbequem. Frühstück zwar kostenlos, aber viel zu einfach und nichts frisch, Frühstücksraum nicht schön. Klimaanlage im Zimmer sehr laut. "
