„We stayed at the stables for one week. The place was very beautiful and had all the facilities we needed, except for a coffee maker. The large kitchen with lots of utensils made it easy to prepare food. One minor detail was the lighting: in the evening, the available lights were quite bright. Smaller, cozier lights could greatly improve the ambiance.“

„Lovely house and will stay again - just missing some small touches like washing up liquid, shampoo, shower gel which we are used to in most Air B & B we stay at - almost like a small welcome pack. Location wise was perfect for us - local pub and lovely beach all within walking distance.“

„Thanks so much, Cath and Pete for a lovely stay! The house is beautiful, spotless and you are very thoughtful to provide us with everything we needed. Couldn't ask for a more relaxing, nice and romantic holiday.“

„Good location, very clean but stairs extremely steep which would be a big problem for the elderly/young and the garden is a trip hazard and needs attention. „The cottage was tastefully furnished throughout and the kitchen very well equipped. The location was really good being very close to the seafront, pubs and a shop. Check in instructions and directions were provided promptly.“

I would definitely stay here again.“

„Lovely accommodation, great location and welcoming hosts. Definitely recommend.“

„We had a wonderful stay at 1 Apse Castle Cottage — a beautiful, character-filled retreat nestled in peaceful woodland. The cottage is spotless, thoughtfully decorated, and full of charm, with a cozy log burner, luxurious bathroom, and a well-equipped kitchen. Beds were super comfy, and everything felt welcoming and homely. The location is ideal for exploring Shanklin and the wider Isle of Wight. We especially appreciated how dog-friendly it was — our pup loved it! Truly a magical place. We’d ...
