„Wir haben uns von Anfang an im Chateau Elan wohlgefühlt. Herzlicher Empfang mit "upgrade" auf ein größeres Apartment. Es gibt ein Spa mit umfangreichem Angebot, das wir genutzt haben. In der Umgebung das Hunter Valley mit seinen zahlreichen Weingütern. Wir verbrachten 3 wunderschöne Tage hier. Absolut zu empfehlen! “

„Wir hatten Appartment 190. Alt und abgewohnt aber Betten sauber. Alte Dusche sauber mit Handbrause. Klospülung kann man nicht betätigen ohne den Klo Deckel in die Hand zu nehmen oder zuzuklappen Schöne Aussicht vom Balkon auf den Golfplatz mit vielen Kängurus.Teppich nicht sauber. Kühlschrank und Gefrierfach grauslich. Der Stiegenaufgang war an einem Tag voll mit toten schwarzen Käfern.“

The only 2 baby flaws I had was that there was some rubbish by the spa on our first day and it was still there the following morning (it had just blown down a bit). „This was a really maginificent place to stay in the heart of Morpeth. It's in a fabulous historic building. The rooms are big, the bed is comfy and there's a great guest lounge. „Lovely spot surrounded by nature. What we found strange was that according to hotels.com the booked room was INCLUDING breakfast. However upon arrival we where informed that the breakfast would be 2 x 20 AUD extra, as the breakfast was not mentioned on the booking. I checked on my own receipt from hotels.com and also didn't see breakfast on it. Not a big problem for us, we just drove into the next Cafe in the morning as we aren't huge breakfast eaters anyway. „As soon as I opened the door to my room a strong urine smell hit me. Even with an open window the smell did not go away. The pictures indicated a sink in the room which was not there.
