âSehr schönes Hotel. Wir hatten eine groĂe Villa und trotzdem die Annehmlichkeiten eines Hotels. Das FrĂŒhstĂŒck ist sehr gut und das Personal freundlich. Die Lage ist sehr gut um die SehenswĂŒrdigkeiten mit dem Auto gut zu erreichen. Ist aber auĂerhalb von Cascais, man muss mit dem Auto fahren. Zu FuĂ etwa 5 km, Bus fĂ€hrt nur einmal in der Stunde.â

âDort zu wohnen, war sehr angenehm. Von dort aus die Stadt und die nĂ€here Umgebung zu erkunden ist ganz praktisch. Man wohnt dort ruhig und ist schnell in Lissabon und am Meer. FĂŒr die liebenswĂŒrdige Betreuung von Madame de Sousa bin ich dankbar. Gern komme ich dorthin zurĂŒck.â

âThe room had less wall hanger for e. g wet swim suit or wet towels. We didn't have a balcony for the wet swim suit to hang out on the rack. But everything in the hotel was nice. The staffs at breakfast were friendly and nice. Bruno was nice, the ladies at the reception desk. The security men at the entrance. But we don't like other hotel guests who blocked the deck chairs for hours at the pool area. Also we don't like hotel guests who complain at breakfast to the staffs but took fruits from ...

âIn Cascais, this is perfectly located. 5 mins walk to the city center for all the restaurants and shops but just around the corner where this is private and quiet. Also had to beat is that this sits across a park on one side, and then a walled fortress in front where the area has been converted to contain some specialty shops within a plaza. The staff are great, the area safe, and the breakfast and pastries were a delight!â

But the amazing unique decor, comfortable beds, small details like cookies and wine in the room upon arrival and chocolate by the bed stand were delightful. âOlala is seriously overpriced for the actual accommodation standard I expected after seeing the website.
The bathroom floor might be clean but looks disgusting as it is half-painted in some kind of bohemian attempt at being cool. But it made the floor look muddy and the walls look unfinished. Could be solved by putting down simple tiles ..but no, it looks unhygienic. â
