Raven`s Roost - Rural Cabin Minutes from Golden

Ravens Roost is a hand built custom log cabin, tucked away in the private Golden countryside, with the convenience of being a 5 minute drive from downtown.
Golden is home to world class skiing, golf, white water rafting, hiking, mountain biking and so much more. Ravens Roost provides you with a perfect launch pad for all the Golden and our corner of the Kootenay Rockies has to offer or just a peaceful escape from the world.

Enter through front door to a large mudroom. Bathroom with clawfoot shower tub. Separate den sleeping space on main level with door that has a queen sofa bed. Large kitchen for entertaining and guests to dine. Large wrap around wooden deck with bbq and outdoor furniture looking over backyard.

Living room just off kitchen with piano, couches and no tv.

Enjoy the mountain views and serenity of the property with no neighbours in sight.

Two bedrooms each with a queen bed upstairs with one having a convenient desk for working from home.

The whole house is yours to enjoy minus one locked closet for supplies in the kitchen. The basement houses a locked bedroom and bathroom with exterior door access that are solely for owner use. Owners do not stay at the property when guests are booked so it is all yours to enjoy.

Please note the outbuildings are private and locked for owner use.

I live in Golden and am available if need but prefer to communciate through the airbnb app.

No outdoor or indoor fires!

Rural property so no garbage is to be left outside, if you accumulate garbage during your stay and require a pick please reach out to your host. Recyclables will also be taken offsite.

Please note this is a rural property and as such we do occasionally get critters such as mice inside, particularly in fall. As a preventative measure we do have some mouse traps discreetly placed in the property. They are checked regularly. In the unlikely event you find a mouse in a trap please call us and we will come and remove them or feel free to remove and reset yourself if comfortable.

Golden is located on the Columbia Wetlands, as such mosquitoes can be an issue in the summer months. We recommend bring appropriate mosquito protection with you (spray, Thermocell devices, mosquito coils etc).
To make your stay more enjoyable note the following:

No smoking/vaping/cannabis products to be used in side the property or on the deck.

No outdoor shoes inside the property.

Quite time is 10pm to 7 am

Absolutely NO outdoor fires permitted on the property.

No fires permitted in indoor fireplace due to frequent misuse.
