Firstly the onsite manager addressed the situation in the middle of the night by offering another room to the guests which was an upgrade to a one bedroom family room where the guests stayed for the entire booking time till check out. The room inspected was not found to actually have bed bugs but a small ant like harmless pest. Travellers from foreign countries can sometimes confuse all bugs as being harmful however in this case NOT harmful and were NOT bed bugs. The entire motel was checked over the days of departures and nothing was found during the entire motel inspection. While we understand the presence of a small crawling insect can be unsettling to guests we can assure we take the matter very serious. No previous guests or since have complained with regard to such matters. And we as with all accommodation facilities cannot be expected to refund monies when the booking is completely used.

Thanks Belinda, old style so no modern lifts but offers old fashioned service. Next time maybe put in request for ground or first floor only and we try to accomodate these requests at booking time.
