Very friendly people at registration both times. We were lucky to have a room on the second floor that was more spacious than other guests had. Our room was perfect. We didn’t get to check out the pool but we seen it being used throughout the day.

The mattress was far too soft for my liking The hot tub was out of order but we didn’t get notified until check in then later by Expedia. The hot tub was one of the reasons we booked there. There should be a way to reserve a second floor or first floor room if you have mobility issues. Staff was extremely helpful and friendly Rooms were immaculate.

Will stay there again anytime I am in Goderich
Really enjoyed being at the Cedar Lodge again, rooms are very comfortable and clean. Staff were super friendly at reception. The pool was nice after the long hikes we did during the day, but the shower was not working well (difficult to adjust temperature), nor the soap dispenser.

Rooms were beautiful but owner is very rude. Pool, Hot tub and Sauna are all not clean nor cared for as you can see visual dirt at bottom of pool, hot tub had things floating in it and sauna was so gross we didn't even want to go in.

While it is great to know that you found the rooms beautiful, we are sorry to hear about your disappointment if the condition of the pool, hot tub, and sauna, wasn’t up to your expectations at the moment you intended to use them. Unfortunately pool and hot tub look dirty after a poor quality painting job was done. We are very disappointed as well, and we are in the process to correct this matter. The Lodge was quite pleasant and we enjoyed the pool. A/C was noisy and was cutting in and out all night. Window screen was broken so we couldn’t have an open window as an alternate. Bathroom was large and modern, quite clean
