„Great spot with a cafe only a short walk away. While the road is busy, the room was quiet and it was a great location for doing things around the mountain (we were there for a wedding). Typical motel style accommodation, nice and clean and staff were friendly and helpful. Room was warm inside despite it being very cold outside (it was winter).“

Plenty of choice for buffet breakfast, sitting out on the deck. Jess and her husband were amazing hosts, and nothing was too much trouble. “

„We had an excellent stay at Paradise Country in the deluxe family eco tent! What a cool spot! The tents are fantastic, fit out with a great shower and heat pump, queen bed and king single bunk beds. Breakfast was fantastic - great spread of a buffet catering to everyone. A couple of things which weren’t 100% is that the top bunk wasn’t prepared when we arrived (had dirty sheets on them), however Cass at reception came straight away and apologised and fixed that! „We were fortunate to get a deal which was affordable and convenient for us. We were in a 2-4 bed room which was comfy and met our general needs. The property is quite old and you get what you pay for. I would still stay as it is very close to Harbour Town and was easy to locate. If you're on a budget and just need a place to sleep while you are visiting the GC and enjoying the sites then this is a reasonable place to stay.“

„Wir verbrachten mehrere Tage in diesem 1937 errichteten, gepflegten Hotel, das mit Pub und Restaurant ein beliebter abendlicher Treffpunkt ist. Sowohl der Lamington National Park als auch die Strände der Gold Coast und Brisbane sind in ca. 1 Stunde gut zu erreichen. Allerdings haben nicht alle Zimmer ein eigenes Bad! In Canungra finden sich etwa Tankstellen, Supermarkt, Cafés und eine empfehlenswerte Bäckerei (neben dem Supermarkt).“
