„Enjoyed our weeks stay, as always. Beautiful farmhouse with everything you can think of for kitchen facilities and a beautiful water view. This very much feels like a family lives here. And the West Hill Pond is right out your back door, a pristine and private pond that is as large as many lakes and totally private. Only 4 or so houses on the entire pond. We particularly enjoyed a daily canoe around the pond and the call of the loons. Unique home and location.“

The house is very well designed and accommodates our very large extended family, with plenty of rooms for sleeping and great open spaces to sit and talk. „Absolutely gorgeous views and sunsets! Looking for peace and tranquility, do not hesitate to book. We had a faboulous week and the Kirby Hideway felt like home. Very clean, homey, comfortable beds, and plenty to do. It truly is a fantastic getaway! Highly recommend a sturdy vehicle to access the Kirby Hideway.“

It was easy access to the public beach area (walk across the street) and a quick drive to a few local places to eat/coffee. „I was visiting Hyde Park while awaiting the birth of my granddaughter. I stayed for 5 weeks and had friends/family visit a couple times. I found the house very comfortable and very well stocked. Large dining table and plenty of plates and glasses etc for a large family. The front porch was a great place to sit and read or hang out with family. The location was perfect for me with easy access to restaurants, food shopping and Stowe. Having Two Sons Bakehouse within walking distance was a nice ...

„We had a great stay!! The view from the house was awesome. We rented kayaks one day from Clyde River Rec and spent the day on the lake. We also hiked to the summit of Mt. Pisgah. All very close by. There is basically no service in the area and wifi is unreliable but we totally enjoyed being off the grid! The Gap restaurant was close by and good. Mostly picked up food from local farm stands though. Overall great stay and owner was responsive!! “

„This property was simply amazing - the location was easy to stowe, remote enough to feel Vermonty, but not too rural at all. The inside of the home was SO clean and well decorated. Cozy, large and well laid out. Beds are very comfy and great linens. We did not want to leave :) Kitchen was well stocked and they use natural/fragrance free products which was huge for me!
