„Great location for us but sandwiched between fast road and railway line. Car parking safe if a tight squeeze.Overall clean but unidentifiable smell in lounge and air lock in shower - maybe first rental this year?Minimal contact before arrival but helpful hosts once thereBedroom the plus, king-size bed, good bed linen. An accessible plug near one of the bedside tables would have been a plus plus a coffee table in loungeEasy road access there and train access into city centre.“

„We stayed as it was close to visiting family, everyone enjoyed seeing all the animal and the games room.“

„Lovely cottage on a working farm.Lovely hosts who made us feel very welcome.“

„Lovely location, central for exploring East and West.Very comfortable with just about everything you need.Only downside was the kitchen could have done with more plug sockets. However, would thoroughly recommend and we would stay again.“

„Very relaxing cottage with comfortable beds and great hot tub! Wonderful location for enjoying nature. The directions from Cottage.com needed more detail. The hint of being slightly past and across from the Oak Tree Inn and Balmaha boat yard would have been very helpful. “

„Fantastic week we had here“

„Beautiful cottage for 7 nights, everything provided in the fully furnished cottage. Allowed a later check out due to no afternoon bookings without having to request. Would highly recommend & would stay again next time I’m in the area. “

The cabin was spacious enough for two and had everything we needed for our week long stay, including parking. There is a log fire with plenty of wood for cold days but we were very lucky with the weather and had warm sunshine every day which made the cabin warm and cosy to come back to after days out. ...

It is in an ideal setting - a quiet peaceful village, close to quaint villages and larger centres for sight-seeing and amenities. I appreciated the video and online guide and referred to it often during the first few days as we settled in. „Sehr schönes Haus mit gemütlichem Wohnbereich und großen Schlafzimmern.“

„Nice apartment in a lovely village. The guest book was a nice touch and we gleaned a good tip from previous guests' comments: free parking at Rosyth train station for an easy day-out in Edinburgh.“
