Wedding hotel, loud.
Party hotel. If you enjoy listening to others partying all night long, this is it, a wedding hotel. The pool closes at 18:00, and then the staff tells you to leave, because the wedding guests have booked the area. A real disappointment. Nice guy in reception that speaks English fluently, trying to help the best he can.

Overall, a really great hotel and the location is beautiful. The staff were really friendly, however the room wasn't ready when we arrived an hour after check-in. That would have been fine with us if we were told, but we were sent to our room and a lot of the basic amenities were not ready (water, coffee, hand towels, bath mat, bath towels, toilet paper). The water, coffee, and hand towels were brought to the room within 15 minutes of us getting into the room before we even noticed their absence. We had to call for bath towels twice, the second time after waiting more than 20 minutes in a wet swimsuit because we didn't notice the lack of towels until too late (my husband had to dry off after his shower with a hand towel). Similarly, less than half a roll of toilet paper was in the bathroom and had to call twice for toilet paper. We would have been happy to wait 15 more minutes for the room to be completely ready instead of rushing us in.

Otelde konaklama ücretim dışında ücret alındı. Odada bulunan tv de kanallar yoktu ve ayarlama için gelen teknik personel çok laubaliydi. "Siz bunu kurcalamışsınız, çok uğraşmışsınız yoksa böyle olmazdı" tarzında gereksiz laflar edip durdu. Defalarca bu otelde konaklamıştım ancak sanırım bu sonuncusu olacak.

I assume the lack of amenities was because the hotel is under major renovation. Seaside rooms are excellent though quite small. Highway side may be noisy as it is right next to the property. Overall excellent value for money. Walking distance to markets.

Hotel New Jasmin was by far one of the best hotels I stayed in during my trip to Turkey's Black Sea coast. It was incredibly affordable, yet the service, accommodations, and amenities were above and beyond anything else I'd experienced in the region. Next time I visit the area, I will definitely be staying at Hotel New Jasmin again. Honestly there's so much I can say to recommend this hotel, but here's what puts it at the top of my list: -Large, pristine pool overlooking the sea -Perfect location- I could hear the waves of the Black Sea crashing into the rocks even from inside my room, and it's also close to downtown Giresun and the highway -Excellent restaurant with lots of food options, affordable as dine-in or room service, and open late -Reliable wifi compared to other hotels in the area -Efficient A.C. -Huge bathtub -Very helpful and friendly staff (and at least one staff member with impeccable English) -Free valet parking
