Disappointing experience despite a great locationThe apartment has a great location, close to Ocean Village, and the view of the Rock is excellent. The unit was clean, which we appreciated. Unfortunately, the overall experience was disappointing due to issues with communication, check-in, and the accuracy of the listing.Check-in was very frustrating. Although the listed check-in time was 3:00 PM, we did not receive instructions until after 4:00 PM, despite sending several messages to the host requesting information. The check-in instructions were some of the poorest we have experienced. Thankfully, the concierge noticed us struggling in the car park and came to help, and they were very kind and helpful.The Vrbo listing was not accurate in several important ways. It states parking is available but does not clearly explain that it is paid parking. The listing says the apartment sleeps 6, but there was only bedding for two beds (suitable for 4 people) and only three towels provided.There were no apartment instructions for basics such as the air conditioning or TV. Supplies were very limited: no dish soap, no cleaning cloths, no extra blankets or pillows, and only one towel per bathroom.The location and views are definitely positives, but the poor communication, delayed check-in information, missing instructions, and mismatch between the listing and what was provided made this a disappointing stay.
