Geweldig verblijf
Wij hadden een super vakantie. De woning is ideaal gelegen: in een rustige buurt maar met restaurants en winkels op wandelafstand. Wij bezochten Madrid en Toledo, beiden op ong 45min rijden. Ik kan iedereen dit verblijf aanraden!

Fantastic location and accomodation
The apartment (house) is located in a quiet suburb north of Madrid, we accessed by car but used the train to travel into Madrid... all very easy. The owner lives on the property and was very helpful. Highly recommended. Thanks Carlos for the opportunity to stay in your property, we really enjoyed the few days in Torrelodones.

Wonderful location & excellent host
We had a fantastic time holiday at Torrelodones!! Carlos, the host was amazing & incredibly responsive before & during our stay. He provided us transportation & restaurant information & answered all our questions promptly. The house was well equipped with everything & even had Netflix (which we were very thankful for during the heatwave). The kitchen had all the basics & towels were provided. We were also able to do most of our washing so not too much dirty laundry came back home with us, which is a huge bonus. The heated pool was awesome & given that we had a heatwave we literally lived in the pool. The house & garden were beautiful and the location was about 10 minutes to the shops, pharmacy & bus stops restaurants. We went to Madrid & Torrelodones Pueblo on the bus & everything was very straightforward & fun. We didn’t have or need a car as the public transport was excellent. The house is located in a super quite residential area so we had to ensure that the kids were not too loud in the pool which when you have heat wave & 3 kids (ages 10, 10, & 15) can be difficult. My only reservation about the property is while the kids were not overly loud (I may of course be noise blind to my kids) they were very excited about been on holiday & playing pool games so it was abit stressful for me having to constantly police the noise level as Carlos had asked us to be quieter as not to disturb the neighbours.

Excellent séjour
Nous avons passé une excellente semaine. La villa est spacieuse, très confortable et dispose d'un équipement très complet. Son jardin est très agréable. La propriété, très calme, se situe dans une zone très résidentielle proche de commerces et de transports permettant très facilement de se rendre à Madrid avec le bus et le train. Sa situation géographique facilite les visites de l'Escorial , de Ségovie et bien d'autres sites. L'accueil était très sympathique avec de gentilles attentions. Le propriétaire, Carlos nous a fourni de nombreux renseignements très utiles. Nous retournerons dans sa belle villa sans hésiter avec grand plaisir même si la WIFI est un peu chaotique. Un grand merci à Carlos.

Magnifique Séjour en proximité de Madrid, de Ségovie, Avila, et El Escorial
Nous avons passé un séjour extraordinaire dans une villa superbe, avec un hôte aux petits soins. La situation de la Villa est idéale, sur les hauteurs en proximité de Madrid, qui permet l'été de ne pas avoir trop chaud, et qui est en proximité des plus beaux sites historique de la Communidad de Madrid. La location est telle que décrite avec tout l'équipement nécessaire pour passer d'excellentes vacances. La Piscine indispensable pour se rafraîchir en fin de journée est idéale par sa taille et profondeur. Le jardin est magnifique. Le tout superbement entretenu par Dimitri :-) merci à lui. Et surtout Merci à Carlos pour son accueil et sa gentillesse. La réservation pour nous ( qui ne parlons pas un mot d'espagnol ) dans un bon restaurant de Torrelodones en est l'illustration parfaite. Merci pour ce séjour parfait !

Spring Break in Madrid
I booked this property the night before arriving in Madrid which I suggest you don't do since I can't imagine it being available too often. Carlos responded immediately to our request to book and provided a Google maps link to the property. He met us upon arrival and graciously showed us around the house and the neighborhood. The property is within walking distance of grocery stores, restaurants, pharmacies and ATMs. It is also a very secure gated location in a great neighborhood. We will not hesitate to stay with Carlos again and I will reccomend his property to my clients traveling to Madrid.

Great stay
Carlos was very prompt answering questions before our arrival. He actually has a YouTube video explaining the access to the house with instructions for unlocking the gate,house,doors for vehicle access. Beds and flannel sheets (weather was very cold) were very comfortable. Nicely equipped kitchen. Carlos went for a drive around town with us to explain where things were. Had a great time despite the cold (0 in Segovia!)

Beautiful house in lovely location, with perfect host
We had a wonderful stay in this beautiful house, which has everything you could need and is set in a very nice, quiet part of the town. Ideal location for exploring Madrid and other nearby places of interest (of which there are many!). The train station is about 15 minutes walk and Madrid within 30 minutes by train. We hired a car to explore the nearby national park too. Cafes, restaurants and shops in the town, again a 10 minute walk. Carlos was a perfect host from start to finish, very friendly and welcoming - he took us on a brief tour of the town as well as providing tips on places of interest and nearby facilities. We enjoyed talking to him and his family and learning about some Spanish history and culture. Nothing was too much trouble for Carlos and he even gave us a lift to the station when we departed, having had a wonderful holiday. We would absolutely stay again, and thoroughly recommend the house to anyone else wishing to stay in the area!

Jolie maison dans un cadre très calme. Bon point de chute pour partir à la découverte de Madrid (centre à moins d'une demi-heure en voiture) ou de l'Escorial à 15 mn. Nous n'avons pas rencontré le propriétaire lors de notre séjour, mais nous avions tout ce qu'il fallait sur place : la maison est bien équipée et très agréable. Nous recommandons cette location.

Très belle propriété, spacieuse, calme et agréable
Nous avons passé un agréable séjour en famille dans cette belle maison malgré le temps. À proximité de la gare ( 10 min à pied), en direct pour Atocha (plein centre de Madrid en 40 min), nous avons pu visiter cette belle ville. Et nous y reviendrons sans doute avec le beau temps cette fois!

Maison de location très bien située à proximité de nombreux lieux touristiques. Maison impeccable à notre arrivée. Le propriétaire Carlos est très attentionné et indique volontiers les moyens de transport, commerces etc aux alentours. Seul bémol, l'insonorisation de la maison ( qui est attenante à celle des propriétaires) laisse à désirer.

Très bon séjour ( trop court même !)
Très bon séjour , Nous avons passé une agréable semaine dans cette location très propre et très bien équipée. Idéalement placée pour visiter Madrid ( à seulement 20 min en voiture ) , El Escorial et des villes comme Tolède , Avila , Segovia ... une région très riche en visite. La piscine était très appréciable et à bonne température à nos retours de visite . Le propriétaire bien qu'absent pendant tout notre séjour s'est montré disponible et attentionné pour notre bien être . Nous regrettons une seule chose : ne pas avoir pu faire sa connaissance ! Nous conseillons vivement cette location pour son emplacement , sa tranquillité et tout ce qu'il faut pour passer d'excellente vacances .

Semaine relaxante au calme
Très jolie maison mitoyenne à celle des propriétaires dans la banlieue résidentielle de Madrid. Chambres spacieuses, propres, literie confortable. Cuisine bien équipée. Accueil très prévenant et sympathique du propriétaire qui nous a fait faire un tour de Torrelodones pour nous montrer les lieux d'intérêt. Madrid se trouve à 50 min de voiture, il y est facile de s'y garer près des sites touristiques à condition d'utiliser waze pour contourner les embouteillages. Nous enlevons une 1ère étoile car seules deux chambres sur trois sont climatisées, et cela ne figure pas sur le descriptif de l'annonce. Nous enlevons une 2ème étoile car la piscine est froide. Originaires de Barfleur en Normandie, nous espérions en louant une maison avec piscine chauffée trouver une eau plus chaude que la Manche, nous avons été déçus, enfin surtout les enfants. Mais le magnifique jardin qui entoure la piscine leur a quand même permis de s'amuser. Dans l'ensemble nous avons passé une semaine agréable et apaisante et nous recommandons la villa de Torrelodones pour son emplacement stratégique pour visiter la région.

Je vais essayer de vous donner une réponse satisfaisante: Les deux chambres à l'étage ont l'air conditionné. Effectivement la pièce au rez-de-chaussée n'a pas, puisque c'est le niveau rez-de-chaussée qui est fraiche. Le climat chez nous est méditerranéen-continental. Pendant la journée, nous laissons les volets et les portes fermées et la maison conserve sa fraîcheur. Je suis désolé de ne pas vous avoir donné d'instructions à ce sujet. En ce qui concerne la température de la piscine, j'ai consulté les locataires suivants et ils n'ont eu aucun problème. Le système est programmé pour 25-27ºC. Il est possible que, pendant votre séjour, la température nocturne ait baissé plus que d'habitude et que cela aurait pu refroidir la piscine. Si vous m'aviez communiqué le problème, j'aurais cherché une solution à ce moment-là pour que votre séjour soit totalement agréable. En tout cas, je suis content de savoir que dans l'ensemble l'expérience ait été agréable.

Very nice house in a quiet, residential area at a half hour of Madrid. Friendly owner. Only have to know that it was still winter in April ... In Torrelodones you have all kinds of shops, supermarkets and excellent resto's.

Perfect with kids and 6 persons
Simply perfect with kids and everything you need in a walking distance. We enjoyed our week in Torrelodones and the house is perfect for 6 persons and our kids (8 and 12) loved the pool - even when it became colder. 7-8 min. from the house you will find different shops (open from 8-24) and very nice spanish restaurants. Renfe - short walk to the station (14 min.) - takes you to the center of Madrid in arround 30-35 min. and we didnt´t need a car. Thanks to Lorena (Carlos daughter) who was a super host the first days. We had a perfect stay, and loved both Torrelodones and our trips to Madrid. Try a walk to "The tower of Torrelodones" (Atalaya) with a perfect view over Madrid and also the Zeppelin bar for really nice "not expensive" spanish food. I hope we will come back sometime. Smart, secure and well equipped. Excellent location
Property is large, comfortable, well equipped and along with the pool and gardens, very well kept. We stayed lateJuly,early August and the mature trees in the garden offered some welcome shade from the sun. Location of the house was ideal for us, never having been to Madrid, as it offered easy access to the city by car, or rail (you can walk to the train station) as well as roads out to the country where there are many places to visit, walks to do, whatever your preference. Torrelodones is handy as you can walk to local shops/supermarkets for essentials and there are plenty of places to eat within walking distance too. I would highly recommend this property, which in my opinion offers very good value for money.

Great home and location
This was the perfect place to spend part of our vacation in Spain. We visited Madrid, Segovia, El Escorial and Toledo which are must see locations and convenient by auto or train from Torreldones. The home was great and the garden/pool provided a welcome respite from long days of sightseeing. We booked this property based on previous positive reviews and our stay exceeded expectations. The owner is very friendly and was available to answer our local area questions and provide recommendations.

Great place for exploring Madrid and surroundings
We had a great holiday in Torrelodones. The house is spacious and comfortable and has all the amenities you might need. It is located in a quiet residential area within walking distance of a shopping street with supermarkets, restaurants and cafés. Madrid is easily reached by train and so are the mountains and El Escorial. No need for a car. The owner is very friendly, offered to pick us up at the train station and showed us the town on arrival. We really enjoyed our stay here.
